I'm in. Sunny and 17 with crazy weather on the way. I've got some laundry cookin' now but, it should be a fairly relaxing day. Football at 1pm and chili for dinner. I'm tracked and treadmilled. lol Enjoy the day! DebDoesWW , linda72 DotRen when finally I visit my DB in Cypress, you're all in trouble.

I'm in. We slept in this morning & then went to Panera's for breakfast Stopped at the grocery store for a couple things before the snow hits. It's bitter right now (15F) so I'm staying inside until we have to go outside & shovel tomorrow. I need to get my workout in before dinner. Today is a lazy day so we're having BLT's. Someone gave us cranberry wine for Christmas so I think we'll try that while we watch it snow.
Power outages are such an issue. It's unbelievable TX has so many problems. We've talked about getting a whole house generator but they're so darn expensive. I think I'd be more willing to spend the money if PA had that many outages.
Hope everyone has a good day! Stay warm & safe for those in the path of the snowstorm.

Morning everyone! The wind has died down but it's still cold here. 32 this morning but we'll get into the mid-50s today and then a warm up for the week. diva49, you are an inspiration to all of us! I hope the graduation day goes smoothly and that you can relax after that. lavonm, I've never seen such problems with the power outages in Texas. I am accustomed to that during a hurricane (which is rare) but as DebDoesWW, and DotRen have mentioned, it's become a weekly occurrence now. I have a friend who spent a lot of money on a house generator and also paid for a maintenance agreement to have her system checked on a regular basis. During the big freeze of 2021, her system failed and she learned that the company didn't perform the necessary tests to the system. She was without power for 4 days. So maddening. Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for nicer weather during the next 8 weeks! Sending out positive vibes today. I'm IN.

Wow, that's just wrong. Considering how expensive those systems are, there's no excuse for that.
