Hello, Friends!
Sorry I've been AWOL for awhile. We are both fine. Somehow I just didn't post. Don't know why. I always enjoy the history that you post, Marlene. I remember when the senior boys put the home ec teacher's Volkswagen Beetle on top of the school building. That's my funny story. If I had a green one, I'd paint eyes around the headlights. I think they are really cute.
It snowed about 4" here Friday night. Beautiful, but terribly cold and windy. Marlene, if I could send it your way, I would. I had a dental appointment this morning (replaced temp crown with the real thing). The dent in the Odyssey was being repaired, so I had to drive Guy's Tundra pickup. Made it fine, but didn't do anything other than go to that office and back home.
It's no wonder Doris's girls are having depression and PTSD. As Connie said, if we lived even in Lincoln anywhere, I think we'd all be helping MJ if we could.
The schools around here haven't closed, but a few took snow days -- some probably because of COVID. With the teachers being sick, they just have to cancel. Then, the kids (along with the parents who are working at home because the kids are home) can't get on the Internet because there is such a high level of use. My DGDs were trying to take a test . . . not sure how the teachers finally took care of that situation. We are all hoping that the surge of new cases is slowing now.
Sandy, so sorry your new friend is sick. So many have this weird sickness; but they don't test positive for COVID. It really is a good time to stay home. So glad they didn't infect you and Fred!
I'm having my nails done tomorrow. They are still the ugly brown from last time. Again, I'm planning to have them look natural. That's what I'd planned last time -- not sure why I chose this color. Well, maybe it was my thrifty side. Couldn't stand to actually pay for natural-looking nails. Should have known.
Lucy, so glad both you and Bill are feeling so much better!
Watching some of the Betty White shows.
See you later, alligators! ~~Mollyann

Molly: I was watching the Betty White shows too....Quiet day, another like yesterday - Jim would eat a meal then go back to bed. He just nagged me for a 4th meal so I brought him his cashew nuts 'cause I'm not cooking a meal at 9PM when he just had a big dinner at 6PM. He is soooo overweight it is sad. He weighed 160-170 when I met him and now without legs he weighed 230 the last time he was weighed. And, his belly is huge with the 3 hernias. One is the size of a 1/2 football, another 1/2 a basketball and a third almost as large.
Tucking you in tonight in our DARK GRAY BLANKETS WITH A WHITE BINDING AROUND THEM....YES, YOUR OWN PERSONAL SLATE WITH 2022 AT THE TOP....AND AS WE PUT THINGS ON OUR SLATE I CAN SEW THEM ON FOR YOU ....I'LL USE A BACK STITCH IN WHITE YARN AND WHEN I TUCK YOU IN IT WILL HELP US ALL TO REMEMBER WHAT WE WANT TO ACCOMPLISH IN 2022.
Trying to Look Forward Kathie
