Hello Everyone wwlurker - Glad you made out O.K. this weekend and I wish you the best with your challenges this week and next weekend. sunrose - Hope you are doing well too! I had my weigh-in this morning and I'm back at the weight I was the first few weeks of Maintenance. That weight is 1.6 pounds under my goal weight, so I'm happy with that. I would like to be a few more pounds below my goal weight, but I'll see what happens over the next two weeks before I decide if I want to lose anymore. This is the start of week 6 for me and I'm going to use 28 weekly points this week and then next week I'll use all 35 again and see how that goes. Have a great day!

Good morning everyone! I hopped on the scale this am and was pleased to see that I seem to be back down almost to where I was previously. I'm hoping for a good WI tomorrow. Today I have lunch with friends but it's at a place where there are lots of healthy choices. cj59 - you seem to have a good plan! sunrose49 - hope you are doing well. My back still isn't quite back to normal, so today I plan on taking it easy on the exercise front. My next opportunity to exercise won't be until Friday. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Good morning
cj59 yea on a nice scale! Sounds like a good plan with the points. Yesterday when I was cleaning out a box I found a couple things on the Momentum Program. Also found a bunch of WI booklets.
wwlurker enjoy your lunch today. Sorry the back is still not back to normal.
I am doing so good with walk, but I really need to work on my middle. Not my favorite area to exercise.

Hello Everyone
wwlurker - Congratulations on the scale being back where it was. Hope you enjoyed your lunch today and that your weigh-in goes well tomorrow.
sunrose - Hope you can get to work on your middle sometime. Exercise is a necessary evil for me
I'm doing well today and staying on track.
I was out today and passing all the fast food places made me think about the fact that I just can't eat at those places very often and can't eat like most people do ever again in my life. It was kind of a sad realization, but I guess it's smart to recognize that my life in the future will be like this.
It did make me wonder though how some people are able to eat big meals, fried foods, fast foods, etc. and still stay a normal weight. I guess some of it is metabolism and maybe they also work in these foods and eat light other times.

Good morning everyone! Today was WI and I was down 2.2, which is almost all of what I gained last week, so I was pleased with that. I also just feel so much better after having a *mostly* OP week. Starting to feel like myself again. sunrose49 - my middle is my least favourite place to exercise too. I only ever do it in classes (yoga, bodypump). I've gotten way better at boat poses in yoga though. cj59 - I think that, while some people do have slightly better metabolisms, for the most part, the people who seem like they can eat whatever they want just naturally balance out their calories and fit stuff in without thinking about it. They also don't eat emotionally or mindlessly, so that they tend to eat less calories in general because they don't have those same challenges. I also think that there are very few naturally thin people - most people do work at it to some degree, declining things that they would like to eat and consciously trying to get exercise in - even if it does come somewhat easier for them. I hope everyone has a great, OP day!

wwlurker - Congratulations on that loss!! I'm happy for you and I'm sure you were pleased.
I think you're right about how people eat. It just seems like that can eat anything they want, but I'm sure they do work at fitting that higher calorie food into their day/week.
sunrose - Hope you are doing well today.
I'm doing well and staying on track. I'm happy that I've been feeling strong for this whole month so far. I want to make it through this month without overeating - like I did in March and April. Before that time I hadn't had any problem with overeating, but then once I'd had a day of doing it, it was easier to think about doing it again. I need to get out of that mindset and back into the one where I plan any higher point/calorie foods that I want to eat.

Checking in for the day and hoping everyone is doing well.
I'm staying on track. I ate out today, didn't know where I would be eating, but I had saved a lot of weekly points up to use and I estimated I used 18 points for my lunch. I hope I was pretty close to that.

Good morning
Been MIA again
cj59 I agree with what wwlurker wrote about how thin people eat. Also just think you are probably healthier for how you eat ;-)
wwlurker WTG with the loss!!
I have been slacking the past couple days with my steps. So much rain it makes me lazy, but back at it today.

Good morning everyone! I missed yesterday as I was in meetings all day. cj59 - I think that deciding to stay away from over-eating is a good idea. If there is a behaviour you're not happy about, curbing it is a good idea even if it's not causing you problems yet. sunrose49 - Rain makes me lazy too - and my steps have been down all week I went off the rails last night and I'm trying to get right back on today, but I'm really feeling the effects of a few too many late nights this week. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone sunrose - Hope you were able to get back at it today. There are days I really have to push to get my activity and steps in. I just want to sit on the couch all day wwlurker - Hope you were able to get back on track today, it's stressful when work is so busy. I'm doing well today and staying on track. I have been having lots of feelings of wanting to overeat, it's really difficult to let go of them. I was in the store and people were buying cakes for Mother's Day and I just really wanted to eat some cake! I also wanted to get lunch out today, but knew it wasn't a good idea, so I didn't. But sometimes I really miss the days of just eating whatever I want.

Good morning
wwlurker hope you got back on track. I know it seems to never ending, but that is life (well for me anyway).
cj59 it is hard to see things and know it's not a good thing to have. I remember as a kid never thinking about food this way. 3 meals a day and maybe a snack. Someone said at a WW meeting one time "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" it's simple, but always kind of stuck with me. I also tell myself "it's just food, it will be here tomorrow" Gee if I could only take my own advice.

Hi sunrose - Hope you are having a good day! I hear you on how difficult it can be to avoid food. I know the key is changing how we think about it. I've done the Beck Diet Solution book review with a group on another board and I still check in daily their for support and to stay on track with that program and it's lessons. wwlurker - Hope you are enjoying the weekend with your family. I'm doing well today and staying on track. After tomorrow I'll finish 6 weeks on Maintenance. I want to do one more week with using all my daily and weekly points and hopefully at the end of that I'll still be below my goal weight. Then I guess I'll declare myself on Lifetime since I'm doing this on my own I went through my clothing today since it was getting out of control again. It was nice to weed out some clothes that fit last year but are too big now. That is definitely one of the fun things about losing weight.

Hello Everyone - Happy Mother's Day to those of you who are Moms (in any way at all)
I sure do miss my mother and grandmother, but I'm so thankful for the time I had with them and all the love they showed me.
I'm doing well today and staying on track. Sundays are usually easy since my weigh-in is tomorrow. I'm interested to see how I did this week and then next week too after I add back 7 weekly points.
Have a great day!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today I'm doing well and weighed-in this morning. I did lose some weight this week and I'm 5 pounds below my goal weight, which is about where I'd like to be. I just want that buffer so that if I have body fluctuations I'm not upset about gaining weight. This week I'm going to eat my full daily points and all my weekly points and see what happens.
