This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Aloha, all!
Some nice, cooler weather blew threw here again last night. I cannot complain at all, being May in Texas. Which reminds me. for you Star Wars nerds out there (like me), May the Fourth be with you!
Frieda, I will keep my fingers crossed that your case goes through smoothly. Is that the last step? Do the attorneys go before the judge to finalize? I'm not sure how it works in your neck of the woods. Did you find a sensible dinner?
PKate, I hope you got the R&R that you need.
Colleen, I haven't talked to DS about this whole custody thing. I don't like to drag him in to it, and have him worry. I have no idea what his father has said, one way or another. Such a loose cannon, could be anything!!! I will keep my fingers crossed for you and BBQB. June 1st will come quickly! DH and I were just saying that we need to book our flight to the beach at the end of June soon. We keep hoping the airfare will go down.
Alrighty, I think I've said my peace. Hope all is well with everyone. Stay strong, Lovelies!!!

Morning MCAT and those to follow. I thought of May the Fourth this morning BUT, I have 6 months til the bells ring! EEK~! Last night I worked on the guest list. 333 for invites. Venue max for our setup is around 234. um..... MCAT, I understand - was thinking that XH probably had said something, but it's good he's not asking you about it. He doesn't need to worry about that kind of stuff. Freida, hoping the advisors work things out on your behalf. How was the restaurant? Sometimes a little indulgence is good for the soul and the stomach. I enjoyed Mexican Saturday, chips, guac and was down on Sunday. Tracked, used WP and on we go. I do feel good today. TS isn't moving dramatically but consistently just over the century mark. My face is looking thinner and today I'm wearing a steal from Dillards. $35 clearance Tahari dress - SIZE 10! BAM! And it's not tight. I love some good quality sizing. Someone had asked about showers - I'm sure there will be. I have three maidens, no MOH or BM selected and I'm ok with that. I was asked for dates for shower and bachelorette party, need to get on that! In other news, ready to look for a home here in cereal city. Apt life is sending me over the edge. Considering condos/loft downtown vs home just for upkeep and maintenance. there's a lot of math to consider as we merge households, bills, and pay for the wedding and plan a Euro Trip in Spring 2018. OK, duty calls. have a great day all.

Hi My CaTs. I would be at WW now but I'm on the loose! Making the most of it - or trying. Chicken cooking for Mick, laundry rolling, men working outside on part of our roof, replacing it due to disrepair, leakage. Let the games begin! I've promised myself the packing of two boxes today, in the time I have. Focused behavior. Then off to get a recall done on my car and to dinner later w DH and DGF for her birthday celebration. Late piano lesson after that. Wild times.
MCat, you'll be happy to know that Star Wars is well represented in this year's recital. The main theme and Imperial March are being played by a young boy of a Star Wars-loving family. And Rey's Theme has been taken on by another young girl who jumped in with both feet to a piece very difficult and has done very well. They love SW! I saw a meme w light saber-toting sheep saying May the fourth be with Ewe - to all my fellow knitters out there.
Colleen, 6 months! I am glad my countdown is getting tight - I really want to be moved. But there are really nice things happening now I must revel in, and record in my mind to revisit. I wish you the balance of the same - forward motion and pure enjoyment of the now (aside from that pesky apartment living - hope we do better - yikes) And what feels better than clothing you enjoy and fits nicely?
I agree, Frieda, on that moment of a dinner to just be enjoyed. Someone fixing for you, walking away from the clean-up, savoring choices. That's incentive to stay on plan at other times, to save room for the indulgences when they can happen.
Strength vibes to T for end-of-year fortitude, to Martha for early duty (looking forward to your report on how it's going when you get a chance), and to PKate in her NP launch! Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Humphrey.
Susan, hoping you remember what to do every morning (like go to work) since your head must be in the clouds and your feet not hitting the ground. So happy for you.
Laundry beeps - I think it said, Get a move on. Waving.

Hi CATs. Yes, I feel a bit like I've just landed in this very foreign place, and the landscape is beautiful but a bit frightening. I've never really allowed myself to even think about such things as weddings and dresses and such, and now here I am, and I'm not sure quite where to start! Step one though is going to be merging households, likely this fall with step two much more distant with a wedding in fall 2018 or spring 2019. Right now we are also juggling an exciting business venture possibility for DF as well as a potential health concern for him. Hoping for much more clarity for both things in the next few weeks.
This weekend we will head to the beach to celebrate his oldest daughter's BD. Unfortunately this early summer weather we have been having is cooling off quite a bit for the weekend so boat and beach time may be limited.
Shari, I'm looking to you for all of your packing/consolidating advice, and Colleen you are going to be my go-to for all things wedding!! GL with the house search!
Martha, I've been meaning to congratulate you on your success with the course! I hope this will open many new possibilities for you!
So sorry for the continuing Ex drama MCat. Which beach are you going to visit?
Frieda, I hope you can come up with a fun plan for the weekend. It was a very nice gesture that you made and I'm so sorry for the response.
Hope you are feeling more refreshed today pKate. You keep so many balls in the air!
Must get back to work and check some things off the list - even though I'd rather be day dreaming.

Waving HI to all~
I am getting more used to the o dark thirty of being at work.
Clinicals are going okay. I am mentored with a CNA, along with another student. Tomorrow the CNA recruiter will be coming to our after conference. I have a list of ones that I am interested in working at (aka within mass transit distance)
Blue Dots: 4 for the week.
Clothes laid out, will pack food and will head to bed early.
HUGS~
