moonglyn, as for impeachment, it has to be agreed to by congress. I don't think that will ever happen. (Unless some true wrong-doing is uncovered. I don't think that's likely.) But my understanding is is if a president is unable to fulfill his term, the vice-president steps in. (I'm sure they would love Pence! LOL) And if the VP is out, the next in line is Speaker of the House. I wonder if Elizabeth Warren (and any of the others throwing around the word "impeach") have thought it through and if they would be happy with those options. No matter what, they are not getting Hilary in the White House. What I don't understand is why anyone thought HC would be a good choice when she very well could have been prosecuted for her email national security breaches. (I still don't understand why she wasn't.)
glrogers67, yeah . . .I don't get the flipflop. The Dems. did the same thing with confirming Neil Gorsuch to the supreme court. If the Reps. like someone, they don't. If the Reps. don't like someone, they think he's great. And if their position was otherwise in the past, they change for no other reason except to be anti-Rep. Do they really think total non-cooperation is going to be their ticket back into power?
I hope Trump can get the tax reform and health care put in place soon. Maybe after people experience some of the benefits, they will calm down and see DT in the white house is not the end of life as we know it but an actual improvement over what has been going on the last 8 years.
