This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Good morning, all.
DS2's DGF was up all night, throwing up. Poor thing. I hope it doesn't go through the house. Two of the Grands were sick Christmas Eve; one from overeating, the other was Three. I'm feeling a little off, but wonder if it isn't exhaustion. I think I could sleep all day.
We had a very nice Christmas, with everyone home. DH is already hard at work, getting cars ready for the trips back.
Happy to hear Frieda treated herself to new clothes, but that she got nice gifts from others, as well.

Good day! We've been having a wonderful extended Christmas. We are in Phade 2: Friends. Next we aim the rent a sleigh toward Phase 3: DH Fam. I am finally freed from kitchen duty and am ready for nap season. Santa was รผber generous. Thinking of all and wishing everyone continued joy. Nancy I hope all feel better and no one catches anything new.

Hi Friends, post-Christmas glow here, with no ills. We had the loveliest days together, we 4. Just wonderful. Relaxing and cleaning up around today, laundry humming, each of us doing our own thing, yet mingling. So sorry to hear of sickness, Nancy! Awful. May it be quickly over. T, your phases sound just right. I am there with you on kitchen duties - I've seen enough. Easypeasy today - fix your own, keep dishes simple. Frieda, sounds nice for you, safe travels home. DS gave me a book called "Shaken and Stirred" - all intoxicating stories by classical writers. He is amused by my interest in beer and rum, being educated through him.
Time to seek a lunch of sorts. Enjoy the day, Everyone.

Happy Day After! Went to see relatives on Sat. It was noisy, the youngest (7mos) wanted mom, who was out helping Santa with the last presents. Didn't get to see the mom or dad of kids. Coconut macaroons are out of my house. They were good but glad to get them out of here. Christmas dinner ended up being - carmelized onion tart with pork tenderloin and fresh cooked broc/cauli. Dessert was pumpkin pie and mini phyllo tarts. Started today off on a good foot, did happy light while exercising with Jillian. Defrosted/reorganized deep freeze and only found 3 items that need to be eaten soon. Was afraid that would be a lot more. DH is replacing the last two windows that are single paned. Yes, he's doing it in almost freezing weather. Sorry to have sickness come around during festivities.
Here's to a calm day~ HUGS & Love to all! martha
