This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Aloha!!!
Second day in a row for starting the thread! Yee-haw! LOL. Willing Wednesday because we must be willing. Willing to do, willing to change, willing to be our best selves. Are you willing to make the effort?
Had a lovely comment from DS last night. We were all playing a game, and he mentioned that he would like to keep doing some studies over the summer, to make sure he is ready for his Pre-AP classes in the Fall. Huzzah! We high-fived. So proud of him! I'm going to contact the school to see what they recommend.
Martha, great to hear you are going to see DMom and will be back in time for your test. Is it a written and a practical?
Frieda, I miss doing some weight lifting. I always feel that I get a lot of it through yoga, but I need to find a class or something. When DH and I were doing it at home, I was walking us through it,teaching it, but I can't do that anymore. I"m so burnt out from teaching it. I need to find us an alternative.
Waving to all of our other lovelies. Stop by let us know what is going on, even if you don't have time for personals. We just want to know how everyone is doing!!! Hugs!!!

Good Morning Cats! Just checking in before I sit down to do some paperwork.
I feel that we need a BD Pep Rally! We are only in the second week of the month...really 3 more weeks! That's 3 weeks of putting yourself first! Just a reminder, you earn a blue dot if you are within the healthy eating range. If your smart point goal is 30, then your daily target zone is to be between 27 and 37 smart points for the day. Of course, there will be some days you will be over. That's ok, it's life! I think the key here is balance. If you have a high point day, then the next day is back to eating in the zone.
I firmly believe that if your goal is to get as many BD's in a week as you can (aim for 4) you WILL lose weight. With that said, what can you do to help yourself succeed? Tracking is key. Planning ahead is helpful. Sitting down with your calendar and picking which days you will work out commits yourself to to doing it.
BD REPORT WEEK 1 Colleen: 5 BD's = 2.1 pound loss! Frieda: 2 BD's = .2 gain Shari: 1 BD
I really need the number of BD's you had the previous week. On the final week of reporting, for sure I need your weight, that way we can applaud successes!
Make it a good day, my Cats.

Time has been flying by. Doesn't seem like class/clinicals is almost over. Last day of clinicals is May 15th. Review for state exam is June 7th. Actual exam (written and skills) is June 10th. I'm going to have DMom help me study. Hey, gotta put her to work. I had 4 blue dots for last week. DSis and family have in past eaten out a lot. I might take over kitchen to make sure something healthy around. I'm sure I'll find out likes/dislikes quickly. Most kids wouldn't want to be in school for during the summer. I think it is a very smart thought that he had. Lots to do.... m
