Hello! It's summertime and time to enjoy the outdoors! It is also a great time to focus on exercise and clean eating. There's so many activities we can enjoy outdoors and plenty of terrific fresh fruits and vegetables! Let's make this a fun and delicious summer of health! WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too! Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here. This challenge runs the month of July 2022. It's the perfect time to add some exercise AND partake of the wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Will you be cooking out a lot? How about instead of burgers and hot dogs, try grilled fish or shrimp or maybe a veggie burger. Maybe do some veggie kabobs or grilled peaches or pineapple? Let's enjoy the great weather and get healthy too! And don't forget to check out the daily challenges listed below! My start weight as of July 1 is 227.4 but this morning I am at 226.4!! I am a daily weigher, I just have to know lol Debbie I am so happy for Tim and Julie!!

I had a great better choices week. Avoided crap in the vending machine because the only thing healthy in there is nuts lol--they do have keto products so sometimes I will buy that instead of chips if I really need something. This week I relied on those cottage cheese duos as a filling snack.

Yes I go to meeting Friday mornings most times. I will next Friday. they are not far from where I live I go with para transit and come back with a cab. tha ti have paid before so have an account. I really gained the firs t3 days In July. I start over tomorrow with whole wheat pasta and sauce. I hope to go on treadmill tomorrow morning. I made theist and what I want to to do eventually iOS to 30 minutes at 2 miles per hour my speed 4 times a day for 2 hours and 4 miles. I haven't done that yet. But I want to tomorrow July 4. I wil take my night meds soon. an d hope to wake up tomorrow morning and eat and exercise doing the segments. I am really determined to do this. I have some green salad too I will eat tomorrow with fat free Italian dressing. I have made the whole wheat pasta 0 points and the sauce and salad dressing are my points. I really have to start exercising again. My lower back is an obstacle. I want to go to original medicare. I will call the ADRC Tuesday which allows me to switch. I want to switch by October. Then I can go to a doctor's office down the street which I want to. I can stay in longer term care with this other program I want to get into but it takes time. it is public long term care in our state. I don't want to call till August. But then I want to be in it by October. At that point I would have an agency the money my trust gave me to give them. I feel if I give it 2 months that is enough. But not calling till August when I am giving Russ and Scott some money that month and onward. they will start getting web checks from the credit Union in August and September but I hope to continue on.afterwards.i am not telling my case worker . I am justing sending web checks to them. Russ takes me everywhere and Scott help in many ways too. So the agency I Amin will pay them now . But I want to start next Month for the MAPp program which allows them to work fora certain insurance in my state to go along with Medicare. Russ is goin to retire in September. And start getting Social security in October. But I want to start giving him some money for gas. Russ is taking me to my hair cut next month August 15. I look ragged. Then In October when he is retired we can go earlier in the day. That office is close to us too.

hi I started over today . I weighed 215 up 8 pounds in 3 days. I am going to to do just 3 20 minute segments at 2 miles an hour. My back acts up and that's all I can do. I will probably eat high fiber packets of cereal 4 day and 2 miles a day but I hang on to the rails. I ordered a fit bit but not sure if I hang on the the rails if will realize .

Dointg 2 miles a day is something and 1hour of official exercise. That will hold me for now.

Good morning! I finally made it to the gym yesterday to lift weights and for 15 minutes on the rowing machine. One of the problems with working in the office is that I can't take breaks to hop on my TM. But I'll be home tomorrow. And I'll swing by the gym again after work today.
Brenda, that's awesome about your son! How is he doing? And how is Maddie? Do you ever get to the towpath for walks?
Mo, WTG! Vending machines can really be tough to ignore!
Amy, sounds like you have some really good friends -I hope they can get some compensation for what they do. I hope you can get back on your TM. My knee is so bad now I can barely walk without support so the TM is really a big help!
I do have an appointment with a Sports Medicine Orthopedist next week to discuss options for my knee.
