I will called later today. My doctor appealed the denial of the knee block. They have not yet decided. Meanwhile I had to reschedule the first knee block procedures for Se[tember 26 Monday,. I hope they approve the doctor's appeal. If they deny the doctor I will change to original Medicare and the other long term program that uses that in this state by January 1.

Hello! It's August and still time to enjoy the outdoors! It is also a great time to focus on exercise and clean eating. There's so many activities we can enjoy outdoors and plenty of terrific fresh fruits and vegetables! Let's make this a fun and delicious summer of health! Good Saturday Morning to you all!!
I am going to the Jimmy Stewart Museum with my daughter-in-law Kristen today . Its about 45 minutes away in Indiana, Pa. They have a Grace Kelky exhibit including the beautiful dress she wore in Rear Window.
Water is really helping me stay on track better. I still need to be consistent nt but I have hope.

The Jimmy Stewart Museum was nice but still needs lots done with it. Although when I think of it, he was a pretty modest guy so maybe it is enough.
I have done alot of housework this morning but to be honest, I would love to go somewhere but I know Jim doesnt lol

Good morning! Holy moly, have I got a lot of catching up to do! I didn't realized how long it's been since I've checked in!
I'm well as our my kids. I'm managing to keep my weight under 190 but only just. Now the focus is to get that weight under 180. I'm motivated. Besides Jer and Kristina's wedding coming up in May, I going to go ahead with the left knee replacement so the better shape I'm in and lower weight, the better chances I have for a complete recovery.
How is everybody?

My sister and I completed the Willow Bay Women's 5K, woohoo! I've been hitting the ibuprofen pretty hard the past two days so was able to complete it. It's the farthest my sister has walked all summer! We were dead last but we finished so felt victorious, lol!

That's wonderful. I got a letter that knee block was denied the second time time but they offered me knee replacement I hope in both knees eventually. I faxed the letter to the pain doctor I see at the pain clinic. I also messaged her what should I do now. and I faxed meh trust in Wisconsin to pay stable the amount of a both motorized scooter and chair combination I ordered from Amazon with a new type of company from California. ia got to do in in 12 payments which I can do in 6. But also I think I am getting cataracts blooming too I go for that appointment in December. I hope I can get on replacement soon cause I have been unable to walk outside for a year and a half expect to go in a non motorized wheel chair for shopping with Russ and Scott or go the rpoeples with a taxi or para transit with a walker in the vehicle just to get into another building not walking much. I feel so homebound and I hope I can get a replacement soon. The PA the tsaw me for that said no to me and so thought they would never approve it. I really want to have it soon my left knee blows up is size every day and hurts so much. I can pay it off in 6 months. Starting in September. I am eating Mac and cheese 1 box form Kraft and the meal; my insurance [ays for 7 days a week that I picked. that's about 1200 calories. I am doing Mac and cheese with just the powder and the macaroni. because I don't want milk or butter anyway. I am really very tired but happy I got that letter today. Scott ready it first and said you were denied. I read the first parage that they want a knee replacement for me. I sent the letter to the trust and that I am paying right at home foff by October. one payment in July and one in September and October. I also faxed them the invoice of the scooter-wheel chair combination. I told them to send it to Stable so it would not be counted against my rent. I hope they use the rest of my money for that purpose.

Amy, what a nightmare! You NEED to be able to get around! I think the knee replacement is the way to go -but you need to be willing to do the physical therapy. Everyone I've talked to that had a knee replacement is glad they did -but the key to success is doing all the exercises, which is the beginning months isn't easy and can hurt.

I probably will go out to the east side hospital to get the surgery or act least I will ask the pain doctor to send me to uw rehab to work right after surgery to do physical therapy and occupational therapy. The longer term public system offered to show the paperwork for the knee replacement just the worst knee. I wonder if I can get that soon. The pain doctor will order physical therapy in the pool too. I cant iunititlaly handle it on my own I think my choice will agree since they did that with my tibia break.

Good morning!
Oh boy, I don't know what I did to my right foot but it's really hurting me! It feels like I dropped something heavy on it but don't remember doing anything stupid to my foot! I want to walk on my TM but don't if that's going to be possible. The big question though, is should I go to a doctor about it?
ON a positive note, it is pouring out and we reeeeeally need the rain!

Good morning! I slept on my new sofas last night, lol! So comfy!
I only walked a mile on my TM yesterday, I've got to better today! My foot is feeling a little better so guess I won't be calling a doctor. I still haven't a clue why it was hurting so bad (and still does, just not as bad).
