The FDA has recently extended the life expectancy of the at-home Covid tests. You can check your test kits at this site: FDA My tests were going to expire this month and they have now been extended to 2/21/2023!

Good news. I've had some since April 2020 that are unopened lol.

A number of mine had their expiration dates extended. Had some from Korea that weren't on the list, and they expire next week.

linda72, Thanks so much for this info. I was just about to throw out a couple tests but now they're extended into next year.

I gave 8 tests to my coworker who was recently sick with covid because I thought they were only good until this month.

Wonder if we can order more for a while?
Also, when mine were delivered, they were in a metal mailbox for hours on a HOT day- would they still be effective, I would think
temperature would be a factor.

I got a couple at my local pharmacy in a grocery store but I know others that have gotten them at CVS, Walmart. Give them your Medicare card and they give them to you. I'm not sure about how to do it if you have a medicare advantage plan. www.cms.gov/newsroom/fact-sheets/medicare-covers-over-counter-covid-19-tests
