Holy moly! It's a new month!
Thanks for starting us Mo. Great challenge. This week I'll be consistent about doing my knee exercises.
I've been having a somewhat tough time recently. Nothing serious -in addition to needing my knee replacement and knee getting steadily worse; I've been having abdominal pain and lower backaches since about February (maybe longer). At that time I went to my GP for what we thought was a UTI but tests showed not the case. Then in May I went for annual obgyn appointment and mentioned it then ... but since I was shortly going to have my 10 year colonoscopy, we opted to wait for those results. That was clear but since the cramping and backache seemed to go away every time I was about to call the gyn, I skipped the call. Until about two weeks ago when I noticed spotting and the abdominal&backache pain got a lot worse. Since I'm 62, the spotting is a definite red flag (literally) so saw my gyn, got an internal sono and long story slightly shorter, I'll be going in for out patient surgery for a D&C in about 10 days. They'll also check for any abnormal cells but unlikely. So not serious just annoying. But it will be nice to lose the ab and back pain.
I'll be seeing the orthopedic surgeon Nov 1 and see when and what type of knee surgery/procedure (probably knee replacement) I need. I can't wait, I'm SO tired of not being active!
I guess another change for this week/next week is to be more active here on the thread, lol!

Debbie I am so sorry you are having such health issues. But glad you are taking care of them.
I definitely need to be more active here too.

Good morning!
Thanks Mo! I don't know why I wait so long to call a doctor!
I hope to hear more from everyone here! But that starts with me posting more, lol!
I went to Target CVS yesterday for my new booster covid shot (bi-valent) and this year's flu shot. Arms slightly achy but so far nothing else. I'll do arm weights, that should help.
And checking in here helps -makes me realize I need to hop on the TM or lift some weights, lol! Plus reminds me I need to check my weight, which seems to be stuck! Although the D&C should help some, it should alleviate a lot of the lower backache.
What's everyone been up to lately? Any trips or vacations?

Good morning! Not quite as chilly today. We are celebrating Julie's birthday this evening! Julie is my son Tim's wife, I think she'll be 33.
I am planning on a good stretch this morning, getting a lot of straightening up done, and hopefully a walk outdoors!

LOL Debbie you sound like me. My son Sams wife Carol just turned 37 but I had to ask my son how old she was! I knew she was a few years younger than he is . He will be 41 next month.
I am going to try so hard this week to stick to my plan.
We are going to a veterans fundraiser dinner tonight. They usually have small servings--no buffet thankfully lol. A cocktail hour before-hand but I dont get crazy with it, especially since I am with co-workers too. One nicety is that since my DIL Kristen works there too, she and our son Alan will be there too.

Good morning!
Mo, enjoy your dinner tonight! It's nice you won't have to worry about portion control but even nicer that your son and DIL will be there too!
Time me to do some exercise!

I had my bivalent and flue at Walgreens. I ago shopping Thursday at 9am with Russ and Scott. I want to buy water bottles because things in our water. Other wise just soda is so expensive. I will buy 1 24 pack of soda for 3 a day boxes of water so I can learn to drink cold healthy water . Out water has pollutants in it. So I cant make crystal light in it.

Good morning! I have to go downtown for testing related to next week's outpatient surgery. I'm a little concerned because they told me I'd be recieving an information packet in the mail a week and so far I haven't gotten it. I hope I didn't need it today. I don't know if it's okay for me to drink anything before my bloodwork this morning. Although I also don't see why I need bloodwork?
Hi Amy! I got my bivalent&flu last week! Has your tap water always been a problem?
Waving Hi! to Mo and Brenda!
