This is a monthly thread for those of us who have a lot of weight to lose. The definition of โa lotโ is something that is determined personally, so everyone who feels they have a lot of weight to lose is welcome to post here.
Please join us in offering support, checking in for accountability, help with questions, etc. Weโre in this for the long haul.
Weโd also love to hear from those of you who are maintaining a large loss. We need those tips to help us to keep the weight off once we lose it.

Hey all! We can't leave the month of November hanging without some support!
So I take it everyone is having a busy November. Me too.
Weight staying steady. Not tracking. Not exercising. Feeling like the only thing separating me from losing the weight is my own inaction. I'm going to lurk over at the Beck Review thread. See if I can grab some inspiration. I really need to work on setting clear goals and managing my time. It's a busy season in my life and I don't make any time for weight loss.
On a personal note, I'm looking forward to the holidays! And I started feeding my 14 year old dog homemade dog food. Wow! What a world of difference. He's the brown one in my photo, though that's from 12 years ago. Anyway, he was really lethargic and didn't climb up in the bed anymore, and I just figured it was natural progression. But I started feeding him chicken, rice, and peas in a mixture and he's been way more alert and climbing into bed with us. It's unreal.
Hope to hear from you all soon! Thank you for your support!

Hi irisinnia - Thanks for starting the thread for us I'm glad to hear your weight is staying steady, and hope you can start losing again soon. How wonderful that your dog is doing better on the new diet I'm feeling pretty hopeless about losing weight, not sure what I'm going to do Hopefully something will motivate me soon. Hope anyone else checking in is doing well

Good morning! cj59, Thank you for your support. I feel pretty hopeless some days too, but then I remember: Umm, I've done this before. lol I just need to close the gap between this person and that person. sunrose49, So good to see you! How is everything? I think time management is the key I need to master. I'm struggling with everything right now, it seems like no matter how hard I work in a day, nothing gets done. I want to do more than just survive day to day. I want to work toward my goals!

Hello sunrose - It's good to hear from you, hope you are doing well irisinnia - I hope you can work on your time management to help you with all the things you need to do each day. That's a good attitude to know you want to do more and not just survive I have lost and gained this weight so many times, I just feel worn out. It would be one thing if it was just 20 pounds, or even 50 pounds that I've been losing and regaining, but for me it's been over 100 pounds each time (and sometimes more!). Those large losses took me 1-2 years each time and I've probably done that 5 or 6 times in my adult life. There have been times I when I just needed to lose less than 50 pounds, those would just take me a year. But each time I gain it back, it's just so discouraging. I know all the things I need to do to lose the weight again, but I just don't know if I have it in me to put in the hard work again I do wish all of you the very best success with your weight loss goals

Good afternoon
Cj59, I gained 100 this time. Ugh. So I can relate. Hang in there and take one day at a time.
Irisinna, thanks for starting us this month. Do you make daily list of what you want to do? I fine that helps me.

Hi sunrose - I'm sorry to hear you are having to deal with a big gain and trying to lose it. I completely understand how that feels. Hopefully we can both get on track and lose weight. Hope everyone is doing well
