I decided I would a Bach of whole wheat spaghetti and sauce and eat that today. I feel better that way. I might put nutritional yeast on some. I feel good . I am going to be in a good long term program soon. I will love to do that. I can go wherever I want for health care. And then have more care from an agency I love. They do not have a contract with the other long term mcos in our public long term system. I am contributing to that plan too. That way I can have 7 hours a week of help. And 2 meals a day from a good Medicaid meal service that I like. That I like that can be plant based meals.

Scott is making a turkey breast for Christmas Eve. We have invited another resident. The storm we expected is not bad this morning but out will be cold and there will be stronger winds. We went shopping Tuesday so we don't have to go today. And Scott and I had fun yesterday,. We were returning items to UPS. So we went with para transit. And then after we did that we had a late lunch at a shop nearby. And then para transit came back 10 minutes early and we went home./

Good morning! Happy Christmas Eve's Eve! Sorry to be mia the last two weeks. I'm getting more mobile all the time so hope to be more consistent checking in daily now. My knee is doing really great! I've gone from only being able to bend my knee 35 degrees to almost 105 degrees! The goal is to get to 120 degrees. Also to be able to straighten it to zero which I can do. I'm so busy doing my PT exercises throughout the day and am so determined to turn my health around now that things are improving that I've actually dropped a good bit of weight and am solidly in the 180s. The kids have really stepped up to help me out, especially Timmy with driving places. Amy, you sound so cheerful, I'm glad to hear things are working out for you!! Brenda, Mo, how are you?

Hello! It's December and a time when we traditionally may throw all caution to the wind! But we can still enjoy the the holidays while maintaining or even (shock!) continue our weight loss journey, lol! The holidays don't have to be a disaster, now's the time to make a plan to stay healthy. Use smaller plates; load up half those plates with healthy veggies, fruits and lean proteins before adding much anticipated treats; suggest after dinner walks with family/guests; alternate drinks with water; add simple exercises throughout day -i.e. -countertop pushups while waiting for microwave, squats or leg lifts while talking on phone.
WELCOME EVERYONE, anytime, and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here.
This challenge runs December 1 through 31, 2022.

Hello and happy Christmas Eve! I'm busily trying to fit in baking, wrapping gifts and I hope, Christmas cards in between rounds of PT. Yesterday's weather got nasty but we really didn't get hit that bad. Not for Syracuse anyway, mainly because the temperatures dropped so fast, from 42 to 30, that literally one minute it was lightly raining and then the next it was howling wind and snow. We completely bypassed the ice stage -for which I am very grateful! Now we're in the single digits but it's clear so yay! Hope all are well!

Scott and I ivited Barb and her daughter who is visiting to his apartment Scott had in the oven almost done a turkey 3 pound breast/. I was cooked in five more minutes and Barb helped carve it. I did not want any turkey had the sweet potato green bean casserole and good tasting other vegetable whose name I forgot. I had b ought a pumpkin pie and we ate that . Tomorrow night going to Russ's Chrimastas party at his nieces. have his gift. Scott's birthday is Janauary 1 and we are going out. I mjayhh not into the4 program Thought if the person doing the list of what I will have does not get back to me either by phone or in person. I am in the same program that doesn't let ge4t much phsyical help. But I am getting some bifocal and regular glasses Wednesday at least try them on and order them . I may go into another long term eco with the state that allows Russ to put down 2 hours a week and we fax it every other week. I tried to explain to person doing my stuff that Scott is not in the plan. I am paying him out of my money so he does not have to pay his Medicare B premium. The have a card that can help me either buy frozen blueberries in the store or help pay my electric utility bill. I have to check to see if my store is included. we are in single digists too some wind chill. But it will warm out next week I heard. We have a football game tomorrow at noon downstairs. The agency I pay will come tomorrow morning to see me. I am paying for 2 hours a week in the fall for that agency to help me. If I get the program supposed to start January 10 they will pay 4 more hours. I want them to get me these meals that are different than the ones I get . Vegetarian for sure. But I asked her to meet me and go over the numbers. She has not responded. I faxed her my program that I desire and that Scott is not being paid in this plan. I will get more snap with a whole ton of medical expenses for at least the next 6 month. However. when these same expenses lower my rent then I will either have to pay more medical expenses or lose more snap. mu rent changes in December. Would prefer tone in the plan that is supposed to start January 10 but the one she gave me is totally incorrect. She was not paying to me when I wrote over in email to her that Scott is not in my plan. Instead she increased his hours without reading that he is not in the plan.

I ate the pumpkin and left the crust of the remainder of the pie. ugh I am full. my lower back hurts my 2 knees hurt. I don't know if I GET RELEF UNLESS THIS PERSON WRIGIN MY PLAN CHANGES IT AND STARTSIN JANUARY 10.

Mo that is wonderful. I am gong to get an eye prescription filled tomorrow. I am taking Scott out for his birthday January 1 . I plan to have a fruit cup hopefully, 1 or 2. I am eating a salad this morning with some fat free Italian dressing. I weighted 214. I would like to b e under 200 by April. But what I want is ofter harder to do. Next month I am going to pay most what owe an agercy. Then I will in February have a doable amount to spend on things again. But luckily I have a credit with my utility. I see my case manager today. and I get hopefully soon a check for something I never received that will help me have some money for emergencies. I heard that it is better to eat vegetables when you get up.I am lucky I don't owe credit cards now. I am dividing the pasta I make into 2 days. That helps with points and calories. I have made some for today and tomorrow. So I have enough for next week.

I am hoping I get the 2 meals delivered a day that I asked for which are really healthy meals I found with sweet potatoes kale brown rice white rice garlic sauce beans too. so I don't know if the worker will be able to meet me or call me.Scott is not working in the plan she doesn't seem to realize. If I do not get this plan done by January 10 I have to go to another long term MCO that would help me pay my utility bill. I would not get my choice of doctors which I want. If I were to allow the case manager I have to allow me to have more help at home.
