Hi!

Had my nails done this morning . . . simply clear, with French tips. Enjoyed my time there. Guy and I went to lunch at Bob Evan's, but I actually had breakfast (eggs, bacon, and pancakes). We went to Staples and Walmart to find velcro wraps for the computer cords and a new cord to go from the phone jack to the modem (one end is broken). It's irritating when there is no associate to help a customer find what is needed, or even listen with a helping ear. So . . . I (we) came home frustrated, and have already ordered from Amazon.

Yep, no more animals for Guy and me either. I would go for a Yorkie or Toy Poodle, but Guy will have none of it.

The third Aldi's in Columbia will open next week. Looking forward to it. I still haven't been to the "new" Schnuck's!

This week hasn't seemed quite as short as several of the previous weeks. Loved the photo of the Friday Dog! LOL!

MOLLY, I had to chuckle on your talking embroidery machines and top of the line.do you know some of those machines now costs $20,000 bucks. I have 2 friends who have paid about 18,000 FOR THEIRS,course they can do many things with the machine.

for me that might be to many bells and whistles.you really want a new embroidery machine you can get SOME starting at $3-4 thousand and that do a pretty good job.

also embroidery machines are heavy. phyl;

personal challenge is: get to the y more often. like 4-5 days a week.

Well, I picked up a cream at the pharmacy then went to Bill's for rumicub and lunch. Then groceries at Brookshires. I actually bought more than I set out to buy and forgot old fashioned oats.

Another long day. I finally got the blanket dry so it is back on our bed. Don't know why the dryer doesn't get it dry but I usually hang it outside and it dries fast but this time it has been raining and raining and raining so inside had to dry it. I had it fold in 4 so I kept re-folding it so the next section would get dry. It took 2 days and we have been using 2 smaller blankets on the Cal-King bed. Jim pulls the smaller one and ends up with it rolled around him instead of on top of him so will be glad to have the Cal-King blanket back on again. Jim has been making such a mess of things lately....thanks to dementia which is worse.

I had ALMOST 5 hrs. of sleep last night which is better than I have been doing but still not enough. I did have a little nap so that is good.

I will tuck you in our new blanket which is the color of a dark sky and you can see all the sparklers and streamers around the date 2023 in the middle. If you look in the corners you will see a nice glass of champagne for each of us.....Sweet dreams!
