Slow day here. I've been reading between the computer and the Sunday papers. Will do some housework when I get up from here. It is 50 and overcast out. Weather is coming in later.

Another slow day here. Got some things done this morning and have plans to get more tasks done this afternoon. It is 54 and somewhat sunny. Chester the cat is sleeping on the hammock on the porch. We've been so lucky with the weather this year. It is going to get colder this week, but it'll stay above zero and then warms back up. We don't have any storms in our forecast.

There was a dusting of snow on the ground this morning, but it is gone now. It is 39 now, slowly getting colder over the week. Another slow day will get some things done when I get up from here.

In the high 30's now, was below freezing and had snow on the ground when I left to go grocery shopping. Grocery shopping went well they had everything I wanted. The cat food I buy seems to be in steady supply now compared to a number of months ago. Will get to my to-do list when I get up from here.

It is 40 here and sunny. The cold comes in tonight and by Friday evening we'll probably be below zero but by Sunday we are warm again. This sure is a different winter. Slow going today, getting some things done. I have a project I need to get done so picking at it a step at a time. Husband is vacuuming. So glad he loves to do it.

It is 24 now and was 23 when I got up. The temperature is supposed to go down until we're in the single digits or under zero. The front moved through with high winds so we both took showers in case the power goes out. Housework, exercise and writing planned for later.
