This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

I'm still under the covers, catching some internet connectivity before the full hive awakens and sucks up all the juice. We are a highly interactive family that also likes its toys. Yesterday's walk sure felt good. I'm going to try to get one in before spa departure. Facial day. Clouds are moving in but I don't think it's cold enough for snow yet. Yesterday's dinner was well received and there are almost no leftovers. DD helped a lot. It's a bit of a relief to have it done. My DBILs are excellent cooks and put on more of a show, whereas I go for things that are hard to ruin for a crowd. Up and away -- coffee lures me.

Good morning T! Wish I was still under my covers - that darn puppy got me up 4 times last night and DH has selective hearing when it comes to doggie night movements. Good thing that puppy is cute!
I think my eating is slowly getting back on track. I managed to hold off the sugar cravings until late afternoon and only had a couple pieces of dark chocolate. Still haven't stepped on a scale....maybe by the end of the week.
T, I hope you have a lovely relaxing spa day...sounds delicious!!
Wishing all my CAT friends a fabulous day!! HUGS!!!

Good morning. I came out to find that Dpuppy had shredded my ivy and helped herself to a bit of dirt as well. Her "parents" will not be happy. Spa day, T? Ooooh, ahhhh! DGF and I are taking off later to hit DN's salon and spa, and to check out the sale at her boutique, with lunch to follow. I'm going to see if it's possible for us to get pedis. Andrea, if you need a treat, dark chocolate is a good one to have. I'm finally able to enjoy my coffee again. I tried a mug yesterday, but was not able to finish it. Lots of water and some toast throughout the day, and I was able to eat supper last night. After a hot shower this morning I should feel human again. As far as getting back on track, the flu helped me get a jump start, that's for sure. There are aspects of my diet that needed a real overhaul, and my resolve is strong in eliminating the perpetrators. Well, one big one, anyway!

Happy Humpday! Glad to hear that sickness is going away and healthy foods making a comeback.
Picked up my new glasses yesterday. We are both finishing up leftovers from weekend and a few from the freezer. Just realized that we haven't figured out menus for next week, better get busy with that!
Started off my morning with happy light and a yoga dvd. I'll be back to Jillian tomorrow.
I have been working on cleaning up messes. Egads, didn't realize how many older magazines I had laying around. I have been flipping thru and tearing out articles and recipes that I want to keep. I think I have put almost 20 magazines in recycling bin. Feels good to do that!
Last night's dinner was soft tacos. Leftover meat combined with another batch of taco meat in freezer and will be made into taco soup. Tonight's dinner is: Slow Cooker Split Pea soup. Think I'll make some bread to go with it.
The last few days, I have eaten too much at meals but have foregone having dessert. Trying to balance the food intake a bit.
HUGS~
