Hello Everyone wwlurker - I'm glad you were able to make a decision quickly, this does seem like a healthy program and that's great that it's free too. I'm doing alright. I did overeat a little bit last night, but wasn't completely out of control. I'm still within my weekly points, so I guess that's O.K. I'm trying to stick to my daily points today and tomorrow and then I'll eat some more weekly ones on the weekend. I still have the desire to just go crazy and overeat. I think it was easier to stay on track when my goal was to lose weight. It's not as motivating to work at staying the same weight. I guess my mind is set to see the loss each week, so I really have to work harder and seeing no weight gain as a success. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Good morning. Finally back home and back to my routine
wwlurker I remember the days when I first joined WW and all the compliments kept me going. When I reach goal and started maintenance all that stopped. It was weird so I know what you are talking about. Soon it will be a habit--right?
I need to get caught up.

Audrey welcome to the group. I'm pretty new here. Both cj59 and wwlurker are great support.
I'll be back later.

hi everyone! I've been doing well this week. I went to the gym again today, but I didn't get to stay long at all. Tonight will be a challenge (as is most weekends) for me. My WI is on Monday this week so I really want to stay on point all weekend. cj59 - I agree that losing mode gives you something to look forward to. I think that setting new goals (like your goal of not overeating for the month of May) are a good way to keep things fresh. sunrose49 - welcome back! I hope you enjoyed your company and were able to make good choices. I'm looking forward to buckling down a bit. I feel like I've found what has been missing these past few months. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone sunrose - Welcome back, it's always good to back to a routine, isn't it? wwlurker - I hope the weekend goes well for you, I can imagine it is a challenge for you. I'm doing well today and stuck to my daily points yesterday and hope to do that today. Then I'll use some of them this weekend. I may have plans both days so I need to be strong and stick to my points. Hope you all have a good weekend!

Good afternoon
wwlurker hope the weekend goes well for you. It's hard sometimes.
cj59 how do you track (paper?). I just can't seem to make that a habit. I really need to.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are enjoying the weekend sunrose - I track with paper and pen. I had copies of the old weekly trackers that they gave out at the meetins and I managed to print them out onto 2 pages. Then I ran a bunch of copies of those and I start a new one every Monday. I keep the weekly sheets in the kitchen so I can write down my food as I have it. I've saved over 2 years of my weekly trackers. I know if I don't track, I won't be successful. I figure I'll have to do this the rest of my life, or at least as long as I can I'm doing well today and made good choices at my lunch out at a fast food place. Only one more day this week to get through and I'll be glad because I've really been tempted to overeat this week.

Good morning
cj59 thanks for sharing how you track. I just have this mental problem with it. Not sure if I shared my story, but I made lifetime in 1991. I tracked for a long time and now I'm resentful of it. Go figure. I know I need to do that to help me lose. Ugh....I've heard others say they keep their journal in the kitchen so when they get something they write it down.
wwlurker hope you are doing well.
I went swimming yesterday. The water was really cold, but it was nice to go. I did get a little sunburned. Need to watch that better.
Not sure what today will bring. I need to go to the grocery store. Then workout. Maybe a swim too.

Hello everyone! Checking in on this beautiful weekend! I did fairly well this weekend; I stayed mostly on track yesterday and today. Friday night was a bit off. My WI is tomorrow this week, but the scale doesn't seem to be budging, which is frustrating as I feel like I've been doing better. I've exercised almost every day since my last WI. Today was hot yoga with my fav instructor - makes such a difference! sunrose49 - have you ever tried Simply Filling (I think they call it no-count now?)? That might help because there is less tracking. Tracking is a chore for sure. I find that it's so much easier when I'm on plan and not eating all of the time. It's when I'm constantly eating that tracking becomes more difficult for me. cj59 - I hope you manage to stay strong and continue to resist the overeating! I actually did some meal prep this week, which was nice. I tried to boil some eggs for snacks this week (I did 6) and I only ended up with one left over once the kids got to them! They also ate all of my strawberries (2 lbs), raspberries (a pint) and blackberries (a pint). Sometimes it amazes me how much food such little people can go through. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are enjoying your day sunrose - I hope the sunburn is feeling better soon, and that you enjoyed swimming. wwlurker - I wonder if you are gaining muscle from your exercise, and maybe that's why you aren't seeing a weight loss. Good for you doing some planning for the week ahead. The preping I do really helps me too. Even though it must be frustrating to see your food disappear, it's great that your children love fruit like that I'm doing well today and did have a few "treat" foods, but I was able to fit them into my daily and weekly points. I'm glad I was able to come back from that overeating earlier in the week. I'll see how weigh-in goes tomorrow.

Good morning wwlurker I remember those days of the kids getting to the food before me. That's good they like fruit. I have tried the Simply Filling. It didn't work for me because I didn't know when to stop, but then I don't stop now either cj59 that's great you were doing well yesterday and you were able to fit the treat into your daily/weekly points. Off to walk on the TM and do a DVD workout.

Good morning! I did my early WI this am and I stayed the same. I don't think that's really reflective of the work I've been doing for a variety of reasons (exercise, water retention, hormones, etc.), but I'll keep plugging along. I feel better and I can tell that my clothes are fitting better. I have 9 days until my next WI so I'm hoping to see a good loss then. I went to the gym this am and had a bit more time than usual because my WI was later than usual, so that worked out well. cj59 - Good luck at WI! sunrose49 - sounds like you are getting lots of activity in! Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone sunrose - I couldn't do Simply Filling for the same reason, I know I'd overeat. wwlurker - I know it has to be frustrating not to see a loss with all the work you're doing. I hope the next weigh-in reflects how well you're doing. I weighed in today and stayed the same, third week in a row - so I was happy with that. I don't ever want to get too confident thinking I have this figured out, so I just keep working along each week to stay on track.

Good morning everyone! cj59 - it's great that you've stayed the same for three weeks in a row. What you're doing must be working! I hit the gym again this morning and was early enough to get an extra 10 minutes in, so that was good! Today is my work late night and I have a lunch date with a friend, but I think I can manage. We also have a luncheon and a dinner event on Thursday this week, so my week will be a bit challenging for meals. I guess that just means that I have to be even more careful about the things that I can control! Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

cj59 congratulations on staying the same for 3 weeks! That was my problem years ago--I got over confident and started slipping.
wwlurker I know you don't want it, but staying the same is not bad. Good luck with the meals this week.
I went to a WW meeting this morning. I gained .8, but had not weighed since 5/4 so I was ok with that.
Will meeting my step goal today!
