Good afternoon!
Phyl- hope that your next priest is a caring and loving man a good shepherd for the flock. I do believe that most denominations are doing a better job of training those preparing for ministry to be more approachable and caring. Have you ever looked for a rhubarb sauce recipe on the internet? Www.tasteofhome.com has a ton of good
easy to make with normal ingredients recipes- many are reminiscent of older recipes. I would look there if I were you.
CJ- looks like you got the deal of the century on that quilting hoop and stand! Wow.....sounds like you had a great day. Nice that the appraiser liked your quilts- and I am anxious to hear about your handquilting endeavors. Now that you have the quilt stand you can take that on.
Ruth- the web site I checked out (which was a physical therapy web site- and so might be slanted more positively toward that) indicated that PT does indeed help IC.
Knowing how long this episode could last and that this is a lifetime issue, I would give PT a try. I keep praying for you.....
Meg- good to see that you overcame your computer issues. Agreed, not worth it to fight over one gooseberry. My mom used to grow them in the back yard, she never fussed over the bushes, they just grew. How are you doing with your PT, is it helping you? I saw rhubarb in the store for $3.99 a pound. Wish I could send some to you and Ruth, as it grows like a weed in my yard.
Dh is stressed over complications from the sale of his mothers house. His sister, coexecutor is a lazy slug who is pushing off all the work on him. She lives 5minutes from the house, we are almost a 30 minute drive. I went with Dh today and his sister has done NOTHING in a month. Dh has been there mowing the lawn- and a host full of maintenance issues. It's awful that she can get away with this. If I had the green light from Dh, I would empty that house in 4 hours, and throw everything out. Again she has done NOTHING since we were all there hauling stuff out. I guess she expects everyone else to do her work for her. She has always been this way, I am just angry because of the negative impact she is having on Dh.
Got a little bit of embroidery done last night. Hope to sit and get more done later on.
