* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN!

161. Don’t believe the claims made for sea salt, a favorite at health-Âfood stores and gourmet shops. It has no nutritional advantages over regular salt. It is coarser, so it may be a little less salty per teaspoon—but if you season by taste, you’ll just use more of it. By the time sea salt is cleaned and processed for the table, it’s virtually identical to regular salt, though much more expensive.

There are old salt farms by the sea here in Lebanon - plateaus made of cement that they brought seawater up onto to evaporate the water from then they collected the salt. Some we buy here is rather dirty - not washed and such as others might do elsewhere. When my daughter was here we went to a monastery-convent from crusader times and both bought some of the salt they produce. When pickling we use sea salt instead of iodized. Enjoyed reading your comments on crackers
