It's the day after Thanksgiving with a little over 4 weeks until the Christmas, 5 weeks until the new year! It's tempting to just give up and say we'll start over in 2024. But why start the year with extra holiday pounds to lose? Let's finish out the year strong and keep up the exercise and healthy eating. Which also is a great way to deal with the holiday stress. That doesn't mean we can't indulge in the special foods of the season, just remember to also enjoy friendship and camaraderie and non-food festivities around us!
WELCOME EVERYONE, anytime, and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-in (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here. - Join in on the August water-exercise challenge if you want to, but no pressure if you want to do something else.

Good morning! I've SO much to catch up on! It's been crazy busy here with work, band gigs and of course, all the doctor's visits between Susan and Jeremy. And then I need to get caught with christmas decorating and wrapping gifts. I think I'm finally or nearly caught with gift purchases. After wednesday, work will lighten up.
I will be back to catch up on everyone!

Boy I really overate at the games downstairs. I have to not eat so much. There were sweets pizza etc. I have a key for the treadmill to attach to me again, u cab di ut at 2 miles an hour. I also have rebounder but looking fo rScot''s dvd to have a class on it so it would Abe more disciplined. I decided I would afford right now where she shop a 2 liter a day of my rprefereed diet soda . I h av eo [9ckers of cold water in my refrigerator too. I am ready I donut want gain back up. its been warm near 49 degrees in Wisconsin. I went on the bus from SSa and it went to the Hospital near me . I went to get a sheet on how to get medical records from 1975. They should arrive within 5 days in the mail but his an unusual week still it is before Christmas weekend. I am worried I will have to pay alot in medicare more than ever before. My consultant for the agency of long term care is coming today. I will ask for a different kind of Medicaid. one that is higher that the limi in our state./. But I a not sure I will have a written plan done soon. I would taxi coupon 16 a month and a bus pass and maybe 1 meal delivered. Sith Ould be spinach and cheese lasagnagna with marinara and I am not sure if that is alot of fat int he cheese to make not realistic for me.

I may get 3 meals the spinach and cheese lasagna with marinara it looks good to me and I would 3 portions then I wouldn't have toto worry about food.

I found t least vegetarian meals that had dairy. a breakfast and 2 other meals

Good Morning. I know I have said this a thousand times but I think I have finally got it!
My Dr has been telling me to take my thyroid med for years! I have it and was in a pattern but I never read up on what I should eat and avoid eating until now. and when I should take my meds.
I should not be taking them with coffee, which I did all the time. I should not be taking them together which I did all the time. I take atorvastin and levothyroxine.
I should skip diet soda and the bubbly stuff too (seltzer water).
Lemons are good for me!!! Which is great because I can still do a lemon water drink and be happy with it.
I always knew beer was not a great choice but I can limit it for sure. I stopped buying for home a few weeks ago.
Brenda Ihear you about overeating. Someone at work reminded me not to wait for the New Year to start. Just to be mindful right now. I keep trying to lose all my weight at once. I am just focusing on getting back under 200 right now which is 26.4 pounds from now but better than the 30 pounds it was last week.
I am truly hopeful and planning!

Amy, I'm trying to eat more healthfully too but I agree, it's hard to know what is too much!
Mo, oh no! But now you know.
I was trying to start my New Year's resolution early -to go to gym regularly and eat more protein, fruits and veggies, less sugar. I'd signed up for spinning classes last night and tomorrow night and was determined to go. But then yesterday morning after visiting with my DIL Kristina and Kristina driving Susan to her doctor's appointment so I could work -Kristina tested positive for covid. So no gym for me this week, arg! But more importantly, poor Kristina! She suspects she picked up covid at the airport las week when she flew home from South Carolina. She was annoyed at how many people were coughing and sneezing, etc, and not masked up. Because she has MS, so at greater health risk from covid, she's already been started on the meds for it. She says the side effects are nasty but it does really help with covid.
I can't wait for 2024, it's gotta be better than 2023!

Well I go up and down the scale but I think I will be okay. I have 2 meals a spinach lasagna with marinara twice a day but I do not know when they start. then I will have half a bagel for breakfast with peanut butter. The mea comes with vegetables and tapioca and fruit too. But these are vegetarian wit h dairy. I have done a budget and I figure I have 18 dollars to save for things in the future unless I have more Medicare costs that I do not know about. But I am getting a router I bought to see if I can get my intern 5 dollars cheaper with spectrum. iw ill work on my budget with my case manager.l Right now I am eating fine. Black beans, whole wheat pasta and lnon fat pasta sauce it is a good moist combination an dit fills me up. I just need some black beans to have enough for the whole month. And then I eat dried ruti and popcorn for a snack. pieced like you MO I love diet cherry pepsi. so I buy 7 2 liters and I find then that lasts and then I turn tower. We have to mask again in the clinics I go to. luckily I have some masks. I had the RSV new variant Ovid shot and flue shot but I guess alot of others did not in Madison. I am hopeful. Scott is going to let me use his portable dvd to use for my rebounder . I have a treadmill. I have an apple little computer and I have amac I hav enow. I live in an area with Whole Foods is down the street one way and Target the other. I am going to get a bus pass. it is kind of fun to use the bus when there is no ice etc. I go to doctor to find out when I can get lidocaine at the hospital. I hope I can. I got 189 again. I do not want to go above this. Cold today . We will be about 35 degrees with a southerly wind. . Right now 20s . I am going to meet Scott. And walk to McDonalds and Targert.

I really like what I am eating so I wont have those meals delivered. I hire enoug for the pasta and beans and sauce. And I have enough if I fill my 8 pitchers with cold water.

I had a decent day today. I need to get to the store and shop for healthier choices. It was awful out last night and this morning. I rode with Alan so Jim did not have to drive.

I am sitting in mcDonalds drinking water with ice. I go to doctor and we have to were masks again. Scott and I have had the flue vaccine and date latest cornivirous variant shots and I got the RSV in Target CVS and Scott will soon do that too.. I sent my one medical expense Russ to the consortium here by fax. I do not know if I will have to pay the part b or not or have copays. I will see. but everyone is on vacation and I don't think my faxes are in the computer yet. it is what they asked for . My utility bill. my doctors letter about my medical costs. And I think I told them was my old medical expense so far.

Today walked to McDonalds no wind and coo but not cold. We are getting great weather. I stayed at 189 no more lidocaine infusions . Scott's birthday is January 1. We shop today and Scott will get some food and I will donate a large bag of valley popcorn 35 calories a cup and and I am going to buy black beans to put in my whole wheat spaghetti ad sauce . It is 22 minutes. and I have some red delicious apple I core and cut up and uput them in 2 minutes it is very good. We are planning for Super Bowl too. I just know I will take bit or two and that's it. I think the parties are over. Scott wants to go to shop or Dennies early in the morning on January 1. at Denny's he gets a free meal. I would order fruit or jut something easy to eat. I walked out side for exercise but I will look for a good rebounder tape the one from Walmart is Terrible.
