Ron has to go in later and get the forms from his doctor, then tomorrow for pre-op tests and surgery on Tuesday. His home health nurse called Tuesday, she thought he'd already had the surgery! I told her no, that's next Tuesday lol. Anyway, she'll come once a day, change the dressings and do some limited PT/stretching, for 2 weeks. His doctor will evaluate if he needs to go to outpatient PT after that. I had a dream that they did the wrong knee. He said "that's fine, they're both bad" lol.

doordie50, thanks for getting us started. I hope maybe DebDoesWW is sleeping in....LOL! DotRen , I've heard that the knee that needs surgery will be marked up with statements like: "this is the knee being replaced". Don't know if that is accurate but I'm sure there have been mistakes so they really try to make sure they are operating on the right knee! Good luck to you and Ron next week. He'll be happy to get it over and will like having the new knee. It was raining this morning so I couldn't walk outside. So, I walked in the house for 20 minutes and got 1 mile done. I listened to a podcast to pass the time. For those of you who watch Survivor, there is a weekly podcast with Jeff Probst discussing the episode with a former player and a superfan. The podcast is called "On Fire with Jeff Probst". I've enjoyed hearing some of the behind the scenes discussions. I can't believe I've watched all 45 seasons! Have a good day, y'all.

((((Reneinitaly)))) Thanks to everyone for the love and support for my anxiety issues. The doctor put me back on the med so now I'm just waiting for it to kick in. DotRen, I hope Ron's surgery goes well and the road to recovery is pretty smooth. From everyone I've talked to a lot depends on your mindset and if you do your exercises.

Rene - Before the surgery they will ask him (probably repeatedly!) which knee is being done and mark it. Heather - Glad you are back on the meds. Deb - I kept it low key until post surgery. Feel better
I'm in, planned and tracked.

finreporter I am sorry to hear that but have to laugh, I hear ya 🤣 doordie50 no! and I've been getting the infusions forever. The nurse is thinking that they are using some kind of new tegaderm patch (the clear square thingamabob they put over the catheter that they leave in overnight)and I may be allergic to it. So I've got these huge blisters on my wrist and iamthisclose to popping them so they stop itching!!!!! I know I know, I won't but...if they aren't gone by tomorrow well that's another story and all bets are off 😁

Oh wow. I've been having an issue with hives also. It started right after I had a stomach virus (norovirus?). Taking an Allegra in the morning seems to hold it at bay, but I know if I've forgotten it.

doordie50, Survivor is having it's 46th season but they have 2 seasons/year so it's been 23 years of Survivor. The first season of Survivor was in May, 2000 in Borneo. Today, most seasons are filmed in Fiji. (thanks to Wikipedia for the info!)

itsrad that's super weird that three of us are all having hive issues.at least we are keeping big pharma in business. 😉 It is weird, but I've had issues with hives showing up and then randomly disappearing all of my life. When I was in college back in the olden days, I would get hives at exam times. And I have read that they are a side affect for some after a norovirus. I'd be taking Allegra every day anyway right now, since tree pollen.
