I don't plan out snacks. I try not to have snacks between meals, but sometimes I get too hungry to wait for the next meal. Snacks for me aren't "snack" foods. They could be fruit, toast, some left over dinner, or whatever healthy thing I might eat for a meal but in a smaller amount. I try not to eat impulsively, but sometimes I do.

I was too skinny in high school. Not sure why I was so skinny growing up but as I got into my 20's I started to put on some weight. I got married in my late 20's and my husband was from a family of eaters, and I picked up their habits. That's when the weight gain really started then I started to do office work, did no activity, and didn't control my eating. That's when I became overweight/obese. Lost weight twice in my 40's but gained it back both times. This time I started at 59, got to goal, and have managed to have kept it off but I've been gaining lately so I need to focus on being on plan.
