Ginny, I sure hope you can get into the class. I'm sure you'll learn some new things. Seems like however much we know about our favorite craft, there's always something new to learn. Plus it's fun being with others and visiting.
Yes I have all three of the girl's slings made. I guessed on those. I tried looking up to see if I could find how long to make the strap and all I found was "it usually takes from 18-25 rows". I'll specifically look for height of various age children and I guess if I go half the height it should be the right length.
We used to drive into town and go to the hospital's parking structure to see fireworks. There was a fantastic view of them from there. When I worked we would take the patients that wanted to see them to a large window that faced that directions and watch with them.

I just lost my post again and I don't feel like writing it all over again. This is the only web site where I have that problem. I have read all your posts. I have had a very lazy day I listened to an audio book and checked out some patterns as I want to start another b/blanket. I will check back tomorrow. Have a good night and Happy dreams
