How Many Minutes
* Choose how many MINUTES (NOT miles or number of workouts or APs - just MINUTES) you want to be active this month. Choose the number that is right for YOU! * YOU CAN JOIN ANYTIME DURING THE MONTH. * Activity is whatever you choose. It can be anything from gardening or doing some stretches to walking, running, yoga, cycling, swimming, zumba, or spinning, or anything in between. YOU decide what constitutes being active for you! * Check in and tell us how you're progressing toward your monthly goal. * You can check in as often as you'd like. The thread will be posted daily. *Everyone welcome. You can start anytime you want to. *If you only want to track your daily minutes and post here that is fine, too. You don't have to keep track for the entire month.

It has been a busy week and yesterday was busy with food, gift exchange, etc. I am glad it is behind us and look forward to relaxing and doing not very much at all today.
Bob: My sister (in Portland) had no electricity for some time - said they had a fire in the fireplace (gas fire) so stayed warm BUT her husband had to go buy coffee to start their day right.
Cindy: You are a moving marvel!

It's all about priorities.
Yesterday I did my weightlifting class. I walked for 1/2 hour while DS was in his 45 min appt (I go in for the last 5-10 min). There was some walking while we picked out our xmas tree. I only had to do about 15 min while watching TV to finish up.
Cathy, maybe you can have your DD bring you a fitbit when she comes. I really think you'd find it motivating.

Yeah a disaster in PDX for sure. Out in the burbs of Beaverton over a thousand students stuck in schools late at night. Yeah must have coffee. I actually was returning from a bike ride and shopping trip when the first snowflakes hit about 12:30 pm-ish. Got in a 60' walk early avoiding the plastic/wood boarded bridge and 50"+ of biking before the snows. OK I did ride around the block in the snow on my bicycle studded snow tires carefully just 'cuz. No yoga today as they follow school cancellations (all cancelled today).
Have to figure today out. I do have Nokian extreme winter rated tires on my Subaru so can get around if other cars aren't blocking the way.

50 minutes ice skating. My coach was very excited about how well I was doing.
