How Many Minutes
* Choose how many MINUTES (NOT miles or number of workouts or APs - just MINUTES) you want to be active this month. Choose the number that is right for YOU! * YOU CAN JOIN ANYTIME DURING THE MONTH. * Activity is whatever you choose. It can be anything from gardening or doing some stretches to walking, running, yoga, cycling, swimming, zumba, or spinning, or anything in between. YOU decide what constitutes being active for you! * Check in and tell us how you're progressing toward your monthly goal. * You can check in as often as you'd like. The thread will be posted daily. *Everyone welcome. You can start anytime you want to. *If you only want to track your daily minutes and post here that is fine, too. You don't have to keep track for the entire month.

Have a fading feline - she is lying on my lap purring and limp...she has never been this relaxed. I have a feeling she is on her way out. No exercise. Rainy and cold again today. When I leave the cat she meows. Hubby is going by the vet to see what it costs to put a feline down and if there is something we can give or if we need to take her in.
CINDY: I looked online and FITBIT is not in Lebanon. I don't know if it would work here if someone brought me one - that said - searched again and it seems they must since there is a Twitter group that is fitbit middle east so??? I wonder if my daughter could get one before she leaves - she leaves Tuesday morning...should have thought of it earlier! They may sell them in Lebanon but bet they are more expensive here!
BOB: Good luck dealing with the weather!
LOUISE: I am so happy you found ice skating and it is giving you so much pleasure - and hooray for the coach complimenting you on your performance!

Cindy - if I can figure out where they sell them in Tripoli I think the prices might be comparable to the States...

The fitbit works anywhere. It tracks your steps and activity and then syncs up with the database at their website. All you need is an internet connection. You can sync via phone or computer. It does tie into mapping for walks/runs/bike rides, but you don't have to use that feature. It's similar to MapMyWalk.
Yesterday was kickboxing. I will say that I didn't put in full effort. But I did walk the supermarket after and hit my step goal for the day.

Slippery for sure. Walked for about 20' yesterday and drove on snow tires to gym. 30' weights and 30' of spinning bike at gym.
