Good morning!
AOTD: At times I may do each of the things mentioned. In the summer I often go barefoot. I have some nice warm slippers that I wear around the house when my feet are cold, and I can be found in my stocking feet most days. I remember as a kid that my feet would get so tough in the summer I could walk on gravel with no problem.
It was 18 degrees when I got up this morning with a high to be about 28. Lots of schools are still canceled today.
Diane, sure hope your DH gets your daughter to go to urgent care -- at the very least! Sometimes it's days before the victim knows they are having difficulties.
I have Trisha on TV, and she made a skillet apple pie. It looks so easy and quick that I think it might be a good thing for when unexpected company shows up. You might want to check it out at foodnetwork.com/trisha. You can search for it by putting in "skillet apple pie trisha."
Yesterday was a loss for me. Today I will do my regular Monday things plus some Tuesday things as well.

Still not feeling great but this morning the cough seems better. I see the doctor in two weeks for my 6 month checkup so if not better by then will see what she says.
With Debbie's divorce and the fact Jeff is still living like a king and she needs help takes away any Christmas spirit from me. But I know I have to try as it would make her feel bad plus our sons and their families are coming for a few days so need to try and put on a happy face! 😊🌲

Okay ladies on Wednesday we are going to the SPA. I have never been so will depend on you to steer me the right way. This Spa is in a warm climate so we can also do some things out doors. We will be waited on, pampered and rejuvenated. A make over is included, aww come on , just for the fun of it. Also pedicure and manicures. The stylist to do your hair, just the way you want it, unless you would like to try something different or maybe a wig??
Transportation to the spa is included and you pick the way you want to travel. Me personally. I think a Limo would be fun. No worries, you know leave the driving to someone else for a change. Check in time is 9am your time no matter what your time zone. After all this is a cyber mini vacation. NO worries about anything. Allergies, colds, aches and pains all put away for the day.
We will need orders for snacks, meals and drinks. Put on your thinking caps, you don't have to bring them just order and pouf they are there. Any thing goes, this is not a "lose weight" type of spa. a PAMPER ME PLEASE SPA.

Sandy, think with not feeling the greatest it kinds of makes sense that you would be kind of blue right now. When you feel better you will get the Christmas spirit. Sure you miss the girls there with you. It made for a lot of fun and time to enjoy each other. Now life will get in the way of visits. But Giving is a big part of Christmas and you are doing that---mostly with your support both mentally, physically and monetarily. So glad you can help and I know you and it will be OKAY!!! I have been in your shoes and know how the worries take over but it will be fine!! I just know it. Not sure what is happening with the divorce but sure hope that Debbie has a good lawyer so he know what all the steps that Debbie can take.

Connie,
I've never been to a spa so this should be fun. We don't very often get to be pampered so I'm looking forward to our day.

Thank you for picking me up, Cat! I'll be looking for that pink limo in the morning!
What a great plan, Connie! I am gifting myself today and tomorrow for real, so I'll be 100% present for a change.
I've been dealing with my last five years of procrastination, and I'm just a wee bit stressed out as I dig through boxes of old paperwork. I'm halfway finished and plan for part 3 to be finished on December 7 and part 4 by January 15.
I don't know what is for dinner tonight. The dogs' dinner is waiting on the counter.

I've never been to a spa either. This should be fun!
We had lunch with DD today, and during lunch the school called that DGD#3 was "just not looking right" -- pale, hot but no fever, sitting by an open window to cool off, tummy upset. So DD took her home for the afternoon.
I stopped by the bank that takes care of our cemetery fund to sign some papers, and also stopped in the little town where we have the mobile community to pay for the snow plowing. Then I visited the nursing home. This is the third week Mom has been unresponsive. She doesn't seem to be pulling out of it this time.
I think DH got his second shingles shot today. He is supposed to finally have the treadmill stress test tomorrow morning. This time he is supposed to take his medicine.
Remember that old saying about "emotionally bankrupt." That's the way I feel when I return from the nursing home -- utterly drained.
Goodnight! ~~Mollyann

Molly, I am sorry that you are going through this hard time.
Cat, I will get the cornbread in the oven first thing in the morning.
I am looking forward to a massage because my lady had shoulder surgery and it will be February at the earliest.

I need this Spa day!!! Fortunately now I will be able to dodge getting the house ready for the flooring install on Thursday. I'll leave it up to DH to finish up emptying the house.
Just love that we are going to Vegas. I am headed out to the curb right now to wait for the limo.

Spa day sounds like fun - never been to a spa. Grandmasandy: I live in the Chicago area - can I pick you up in a limo?? QOTD - I wear shoes in the house (or boots for snow) since Waylon doesn't give me much notice when he needs to go out and the ferrets bite toes and feet if they can.
