This article explains it all (Android to PC): www.pcmag.com/how-to/3-free-ways-to-run-android-apps-on-your-pc---- We've had some members with vision issues mention that they prefer to use the computer but now that WW has gutted the website, it has become difficult to actually do the program. fullmahina posted this in the the new program thread but it got buried and I wanted to make sure everyone saw it.

All my attempts to download the app on my Chromebook have failed. Is it possible to do this? Otherwise, I don't get full functionality.

sunshinep396, I think someone on the new program thread posted they used their Chromebook as a tablet and used the app on that. You might want to try to find that thread and ask them how to do it. It was in the last few days.

sunshinep396, I copied this from DebDoesWW, post but couldn't find the original post. lavonm did the post., You could message her. lavonm said: I have a suggestion for those that have issues with using the app due to vision issues. I have a Chromebook that can also be a tablet. I downloaded the app on it to verify it would work properly & it does. My screen is 6 x 10 although there are larger ones available. It's much easier to see everything. With Black Friday deals, it might be worth checking out. Hope this helps someone.

There are Chromebooks that don't. The only other idea I have is your Chromebook is an older model & won't support the app. I was able to download the app on mine with no issue.I also tested it to make sure it worked.

fullmahina - thanks for posting this! And thanks DebDoesWW for reposting here. You said Android -> PC. Do you know if these work for iPhone -> PC? I have a MacBook Pro laptop. Maybe I'll try doing itrackbites app on my PC, as well as WW.

susan092907 you should just be able to go to the App Store and download them. β Your Mac comes with a wide range of apps already installed, so you can have fun, work, connect with friends, get organized, buy things, and more. To see the apps available on your Mac, click the Launchpad icon in the Dock. To open an app, click its icon in the Dock or use Launchpad.β

DebDoesWW, Thanks. I do have the itrackbites website open, but it doesn't have the app for tracking and community. But I'll check it out further when I have some time.

I just downloaded the BlueStacks program mentioned in the article and it brought me to the Google Play Store where I downloaded the iTrackBites app and it looks exactly like the app on my phone but now full laptop screen size. Worked flawlessly and quickly. It also gave me an iTrackBites icon on my desktop and I can go directly to the iTrackBites mobile site (with a full screen) by clicking on the icon. On the Blue Stacks link it mentions many different kinds of operating systems and it looks like you can use it with MAC's too. When I first tried to download the WW app (from Google Play Store) I got a message that it first had to remove me from the Beta program that I had signed up for. Then it said I might want to uninstall the Beta version first so right now I am doing that and will see how that goes. ETA: I have uninstalled the WW app from the devices on which I installed it and Play Store is still trying to get me out of the WW Beta version so it can install the "public" version. Oh well...par for the course. But my iTrackBites looks fabulous on the big screen and I can now work on my laptop and toggle back to my iTB screen without bothering with my phone or tablet. YAY!!! This is the link that I used for my PC laptop---I clicked on the green "DOWLOAD" button that appears on the upper righthand corner as you scroll the page: www.bluestacks.com/

You can buy keyboards for tablets/ipads. Search amazon, there are all kinds and prices!

I totally understand wanting a keyboard. I use the website for everything except tracking activity. I'm sure WW will continue pushing people to the app but I'm using the website for as long as possible.
