Looks like snow fluriries in your neck of the woods this morning my friend, Stay warm and be careful. The more days I add to my life the more I am aware of the places I walk. I don't want to fall again and break any more bones in my bumm. Safety first...

Thanks for the reminder. I am extremely safety aware, probably due to having written and enforced safety policies years ago and also because I am alone in a remote area most days. A couple of years ago I amped up the deicer and started making sure there were no slick spots due to--basically laziness. Also have a rule to never get on a ladder when alone. Lots of stuff seems to happen to seniors in regard to ladders. Watch out for heat stroke and hypothermia! I need to crack down on being much more careful about heat stroke because I will work outside when it is very hot and ignore that I am overdoing it. Did you know that most people get hypothermia when the temps are in the 50s. That amazed me. I agree about paying attention to where we walk. Since I never leave my property it isn't a problem. Don't forget to take identification, even when its just a quick walk around your neighborhood--take time to make something to carry today, if you don't have something already. I have a copy of my drivers license with emergency numbers written on the back that I carry when I take the Therapy Dog to events since I don't bring my purse. Speaking of that I just thought of something else I need to do along those lines so I am going to do it this week. Just chatting.....

I'll make an ID paper and use a safety pin to pin it to my shirt. I walk in the neighborhood. DH knows when I leave and I let him know how long I'll be gone. The door chimes when I get home. I always walk with my phone because I listen to a pod cast while I walk. Thanks for the reminder!!!
