Iggy went to the new chiropractor and he was okay with her. He is improving. I asked him if he was going back to old chiro and he said he will stick with the new one for now. She is a lot closer to our house and half the price. We have had showers all day and it is a cooler at 50°.
The new REI is supposed to open April 5th and it’s not too far from us. It didn’t open south of town like everything else.
I have no idea what the plans are for the lemon seedling. Iggy knows how I felt about the huge tree blocking the light in winter and taking up room we don’t have.
Karen, how does your mouth feel today? Crowns are very expensive and so are root canals. Why dental care, visual and hearing care are not insured to the same extent as medical care I’ll never know. I’m glad you found Dale’s tick right away. $70 for 2 pizzas? Yikes! What did you do instead?
Linda, I hope Bob’s doctor appointment went well.
Kathy, I hope you’re having a good day.

Thanks for the start, Chele. I'm happy to hear Iggy is improving. Closer and cheaper are a couple of good points for the new chiropractor. That's great that the REI isn't locating where all the other new retail seems to be going. Your weather sounds like our weather today. The mouth is a little sore today but the throbbing of yesterday has ceased. The dental assistant recommended I not chew on the right side (where all the new crowns are), so eating is a bit of a challenge. I'll be having spaghetti for dinner, which I hope will be easy to chew. I totally agree on the pathetic coverage for dental and vision, that is unless you shell out major bucks for a more robust policy.
Kathy, I hope your weather is better than Chele and I are having today. Sorry things seem to be slowed at the pond. Hopefully things will pick up soon.
I hear you will be getting a new U.S. senator, Linda. Hopefully it won't be Kari Lake. How are you doing today? I hope you are getting some rest. Did you go to the museum yesterday?
I did a workout this morning, but otherwise just did some kitchen things. I also picked up a trojan horse, probably from FB, and spent a considerable period of time cleaning things up on my laptop. Fingers crossed no harm was done.

Closer and cheaper and you like the dr works for me!
Dr x very happy with test. Psa going down yet.often it does not even start for a year after radiation. He is doing better than many. We are happy!
Karen, my jaw aches just from cleaning. I hate to think what yours feels like. Lucky to have Delta insurance from retirement for $35 each a month that pays for half of crowns and all of root canals which is money back and then some! We have a little vision coverage (really little) and getting glasses at Costco is a godsend in price. He went from $600 a pair to $165 when he switched! Also the pkace for top of the line hearing aids and free audio test which is more thorough than I got at ear dr.
we have a progressive Democrat in the house for years bs Kari Lake who lost for guv and has been saying it was rigged ever since. People are sick of it. She is not well liked and burned her bridges nastily with the moderates. I do not think she can carry the whole state.A lot of people who liked Trump do not like him now. But a lot of people consider Gallego a leftist..which is poison in some parts of the state which elected the fools leading that pack that is destroying everything in the House . Unfortunately this could be a Senate flipping race which means the barrage of hideous ads everywhere will begin soon, mostly from out of state dark money.
they are saying day of drizzle or maybe storms tomorrow,
After the dog walk, with no desire to change a bed or look at any more laundry, Finally went out on the west side to put fertilizer spikes around the orange tree which is small and not doing well. Well, one thing leads to another, doesn't it?
Ended up attacking The weeds and extra ruella plants (purple flowers on increasingly tall stalks until they fall over unless you keep trimming…spreads like mint!).
the ground cover / rock mulch is rust colored lava rock which is lighter weight and too porous to heat up. Well it also blows around under leaf blowers on high. So we have bare patches and an area I never got to two years ago when I added edging to keep it inside the area, not on the sidewalk than runs to the back yard. I still had a bag of the rock.
Those two took quite a while sitting on my stool before the sun got over the roof. Looks pretty good, and so I moved on to the Myrtle with lots of dead bits from freeze which lead to the Australian emu bush/tree running into it with lots of freeze damage.
by then it was two hours and lots of emu left to do with trash bin full. So I straightened up my back and said time to quit. Took Advil to avoid sciatica and played fetch the frisbee with Minni who was frantic to get out and see what I was up to, both of us resting after lunch. She is in her fluffy bed where she fought it and dragged it ! Oh to have that energy.

Chele, that's good that Iggy is improving and likes the new chiropractor okay. I don't blame you for not wanting the lemon tree in the house. My first thought would be bugs and lizards, but you probably don't have to worry about that where you are! I don't understand the lack of dental, vision and hearing insurance either. I know Biden has talked about adding it to Medicare, but it wouldn't get through Congress right now.
Karen, it was warm and muggy today. We had rain late last night and it looked like rain all day, but stayed dry. Hope the mouth isn't too sore tonight. I saw a lone ibis making the rounds around the pond today. I'm hearing a lot of bird calls I can't identify, but I haven't seen anything new. I tried one of the bird apps, but the birds weren't close enough for it to identify the calls.
Linda, that's good news on Bob's test results. I sure hope Kari Lake doesn't get in and I'm also hoping Rick Scott will be defeated here. He's not popular, but will probably win just because he's the Republican candidate. I haven't seen any ads for him yet, but our primaries aren't until August.
