Linda, was your day jam packed again? Did you get any sleep last night?
Kathy, yay for those cookies! I’ll have mine with nuts, please.
Kathy, how were Osteo and PT? You can always go back to PT if the knee acts up again. The green beans are flat Italian variety Bush Beans II. We’ll get tomatoes and peppers in May from the nurseries. Yes, the Kirby was bought by Iggy from door to door salesman. He’s always been a sucker for DTD sales people. Heights didn’t grow up in NYC where we just shouted “Get outta heah.” and slammed the door. I think we’ll be able to walk if my leg is better by then. Not caught up on 9-1-1 yet.
We’ve had rain off and on since last evening. Nice and cool, but we’ll be heating up to 80° next week. Boo! It’s only April. Iggy and I went to the sushi buffet today, the one further south that we started at. We agreed it is much better than the second restaurant closer to us even though it’s smaller with fewer options. The hibachi grill is much more flavorful.

Never sen a DTD salesperson like that..just people here wanting to sign us up for solar or new windows or coupons for restaurants from a school thing ..and of course the JW and Mormons.
slept nine hours with the usual three to four BR trips. Phew. Started painful day with a Tylenol and an Advil which made life tolerable. By four weeks from now, I may want to rip that knee out!
up early for cleaning lady and then guy from painting co. For estimate which he will email.
heading out soon for early dinner at PF Changs. Kitchen clean and staying that way!
next uo, setting up a guest quarters in the man cave for dsil Tuesday. Her trigeminal neuralgia that she gets nerve blocks for down in Liz's place is bad.she can hardly chew and hopes it is just dental, considering brain surgery which they say they can do around the minor sunrise nearby. Shudder. She needs to sit and listen to audio books in the shade, eat out and relax, friend may take her to Sedona. Having a one year old baby and nephew with special diet living with them (baby weekends) surely does not help.

Chele, I wonder if the cookie quality is as good as I remember it being. I don't think they used to have the nut free version. I'm with you on the DTD salesmen. I had a roofer come to the door this week and didn't answer it. They've been swarming around since we had that hailstorm a few weeks ago. I see 90s in our forecast for next week, so boo to that too.
Karen, we had storms this afternoon, so hopefully the bad weather had already passed your area. We didn't get much more than a normal stormy day, but I heard a tornado touched down in the St. Augustine area.
Linda, good plan to eat out. Hope you enjoy the meal!

Thanks for the start, Chele. We'll all be living vicariously through you on those 🍪🍪. Nuts, of course! LOL on Iggy and his DTD salesmen. Do they even exist anymore? Those flat Italian beans sound right up your alley. I hope you get a bountiful harvest. Glad you enjoyed the sushi restaurant. We'll be having the same heat wave you'll be getting. We'll be in the 70s and 80s through at least next weekend. I had rain off and on for the entire trip, but fortunately, the heavy stuff hit while I was in the gym and after I got home. Osteo and the gym went well, as did PT. We had a long talk there about next steps and it looks like I'll conclude my sessions in June (I told him I could always come back if I need to. We talked about my consulting with a local dermatologist who has a special treatment for my foot problem, which will help with my gait, which will help with running.
Linda, I'm surprised that an abortion law that was enacted before AZ was a state could be valid. Are there other laws there that pre-date statehood? The benefit to living behind a gate is no salespeople, JW or Mormons. What did you do to manage to sleep so long last night? That's impressive, given your sleep history. That doesn't sound good on DSIL's medical situation. What kind of restaurants can you take her to if she has chewing issues? Soup and smoothies?
If Chele and I will be in the 70s ad 80s, Kathy, where were your temps be? Did any of that weather that hit the Gulf Coast migrate your direction? It looks like the fam up north may be getting another round of severe weather. I hope the hillside behind DN#1 trailer doesn't continue to slide. I haven't had a chance to check FB to see if he's posted anything.
I got a Medicare scam call right before dinner. I'll need to report it tomorrow. Guy with an Indian accent, and I got suspicious when he had the wrong house number (which I didn't correct him on), but when he asked for my Medicare number, I knew an hung up immediately. The only reason I answered the phone was because I was expecting a call from my doctor's office. Next time I'll let it go to VM even if it looks legit on the caller ID. We are expecting rain yet again tomorrow and we decided to use the time to fill the freezer with Arya dinners. That way we can use good weather later on to do things we want to do.

Been to PF Changs for years..food was way too salty and we ate half then quit, declined box. I had hoped for two dinners from it .it is now expensive ..$46 for the two entrees. Manager checked on us but Bob said we were ok (mentally strangling) ..bill came with no deductions. smart manage would Como half not eaten by long time clients. Not going back.
