really hoping dsil has dental solution yesterday. She offered to come to help after surgery, but would be one more problem. Love her, but the 24/7 talking would put us over top. A package of heat therapy patches for her foot pains came yesterday, and she is really in worse shape than us in many ways. today is COVID boosters at 11 and starting to set up the man cave (move some of his stuff..books R us ) with inflatable bed for dsil to arrive again Tuesday. I need to be sure that mattress is ok and get the stuff in it with stretch clips underneath if the bottom sheet slides off the twin size before my arm aches. Not a big enough space with all his furniture to use Q size. then he gets to clean up the small walk in closet he likes things in. All this moving stuff for carpet cleaning made knee mad.sure this will not help.

Thanks for the start, Chele. When will you start making the trek to YS on Saturdays? Are you continuing to contend with rain and wind like we are? I'm shocked that our power hasn't gone out yet with the way the wind has been whipping around. My little meadow is happy with all the rain it's getting.
Linda, I know what you mean about PF Chang's. I don't think they were ever cheap. I haven't been there since before Covid and it was way too salty for me, but then I rarely add salt to anything so I thought it was just me. Better to spend your $$$ on places you enjoy. I'm sure your knee is not happy with all the physical labor it's having to undergo as you get ready for your guest. DM was a 24/7 talker, so I know how that can be. Isn't she the much younger sister? I guess it's good that the two of you are in better shape but it's a shame that she is having so many problems, both medically and life in general. How were the jabs? I hope neither of you has side effects this time around.
Kathy I think we cross posted yesterday. Did you get any more bad weather? We had wind and rain since the overnight, so very anxious pup. Sorry about your impending 90s. I was afraid of that with our predictions being in the 80s. What have you heard about St. Augustine's tornado? We took a girls' trip there one year and I really liked it. I hope they didn't get much damage.
Arya has almost 10 weeks of dinners in the freezer. It's a lot of work, but now that she has exclusively been on home-cooking for 3 or 4 years, I've noticed she isn't getting as many "basset bumps" and the ones she has don't seem to grow as quickly. My poor girl has had a rough time lately, with t-storms yesterday morning, then more storms after I got home yesterday, plus wind and rain overnight that has been continuing for most of today. We've had numerous gusts in excess of 30mph and she's spent a lot of time hiding out in the pantry. I didn't feel like doing much after all that cooking, so I've been pretty lazy since then. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

All that cooking would have finished me! But you are set for awhile.
Another friend in NJ has a dog under the bed with wind or rain. I guess Penn. really got soaked into swamp. Hope things are better in Ohio. 94 again here before it gets back to 86 or so which is normal. I need to adjust the water schedule.
Started to get stuff moved in the man cave. However DH's bedside clock was blank since cleaning had disturbed plugs under the bed.Got it right finally and reset. Then we got COVID shots at Walgreens.
So before arm could start aching, Got home and finished moving stuff carefully with DH and inflated the twin bed..too small space for queen. Trouble with those beds is that fitted bottom sheet has no place to cling to. It comes off. So after folding king size gel mattress pad in half, I laid bottom sheet on top and added clips on elastic strip to each side and slide it around the bed top. Did same with bottom…not easy. I used a bigger size sheet so I had to stand the bed on end and add a clip in the center. Once that was secure, blankets and pillows added. Glad to have that fight behind me.
morning she arrives I will put a little table and lamp next to it.She used to get DH's bed and he came in with me, but that does not work now, and he needs the elevated head on sleep number bed. Two of us hardly going to have a third room with a bed.
I was going to boil the frozen pierogi and then sauté them with onions, but it is going to be Italian take-out tonight. The upper arm is just now starting to ache. I remember last time I thought I got off Scott free and it turned up at supper for three days.
Today is definitelyTGIF. No dr or work people on weekends! Glad this week is done.

Chele, thanks for the start. Any plans for the weekend?
Karen, our weather cleared up and today was really nice with a high around 79°. The damage around St. Augustine didn't look too bad, but there was some exterior damage to roofs and fencing. They said there wasn't any structural damage. Hope the weather calms down so poor Arya (and you!) can get a good night's sleep. Your little meadow looks pretty. Have you watched this week's Elsbeth yet? I'll probably watch it sometime this weekend.
Linda, you deserve a break this weekend! Hope the booster doesn't have too many side effects. I don't know why the restaurants have to add so much salt to everything. PF Chang's has always been pretty salty to me. I had a similar experience to yours at Chili's one time. The meal was so salty I couldn't eat much of it. I looked up their menu and some of the meals had over 5000mg of sodium. No wonder!
