Leaving soon to meet GF. Today I think we’re going to go consignment shopping…..the rest of the weekend is unplanned - which is fine with me… This week at week, I asked the dining hall manager if he could give me any nutritional information on the entries they make. He said to email him and he’ll send what he can.. So yesterday they had Spinach Dal - it looked like lentils and spinach in a sauce, but I had no idea if the sauce was high cal or not….I asked about it and it turned out to be very healthy, they blend carrots, onions and split lentils to make the sauce….I never would have known without asking. He even gave me a few portions to take home. I plan on having them over a mix of cauliflower/b. Rice.
Jan, how are things going? Nick doing well? I started doing arm exercises to try and tone my bat wings….Started beginning of April 5 min, no weights in am and just added a 10 min w/light weights after work. Just like my eating, I’m trying to be consistent….Believe me, I feel it so I must be doing something right….lol
Nancy, Your motivation is contagious…You’re making me think of my food choices….is this Whole Foods?? Trying to make healthier swaps. Thank you!!

C134D7, 1328 calories - grocery shopping and pizza with friend, dance tonight at clubhouse.
Lori - Yes whole foods. I'm really enjoying the meals - not missing the sugary or processed stuff at all. Turns out I'm saving a ton of money too. It's amazing how many rows I skip in the supermarket. Most shopping is around the cirumferance. When on line, I look in other people's carts. In many cases, there isn't a thing I could purchase. My kitchen cabinets are half empty and plenty of room in my fridge and freezer. Today I bought the ingredients for mushu and for the lightened up broccoli cheese soup. Some exceptions to whole foods in these recipes but the exceptions seem acceptable to me. Tonight is a dance. I'm tracking around it. To the dance I'm bringing shrimp cocktail and a friend is bringing strawberries. I'll munch on those primarily but will partake in the desserts, etc. For you it will be a bit harder since Mom and DH will want some of what I was able to discard. Anxious to hear how it works for you.

Late checkin. Went to urgent care yesterday and am taking an antibiotic. Also the pinkeye went to the other eye. But I'm hanging in there. So behind on stuff, but it is what it is. Eating is up and down.
Kathy: yes, I take vitamin D. And a multi-vitamin and calcium and AREDS for eye healthy and D-Mannose for urinary tract health (that last one has made a BIG difference).
