.I could not get site to function most of yesterday and the evening here or sometimes even connect with message server was not connecting.
last day with dsil. Introducing her to fruit pierogi ..local Ukrainian place called All Pierogi for lunch. Another dinner out ..lighter fare at Cheesecake Factory. Adding up $$$ but just cannot cook right now. Left foot arthritis decided to squawk along with right knee. She offered to cook, but does not know where anything is and I would have to be in kitchen anyway. Then comes cleanupā¦
she started putting dishes from dishwasher away without really knowing where things areto be helpful last weekā¦Bob's job. He had to stop her as good stainless and day stuff were going in kitchen drawer together in wrong places. We may never find a couple dishes!

Linda, one more day to go. I hope you all enjoy the pierogis. Iāve never had a fruit one, but it sounds good. I havenāt been to Cheesecake Factory in awhile, but last time I was there I picked something from the light menu. I feel your pain on someone else messing up your kitchen. I hope the inflammation in foot and knee doesnāt last long. How is DSIL feeling today? I hope youāre not driving her to the airport tomorrow.
I get the ultrasound Friday, then a couple of days for results, then if no clot, the doctor will schedule PT.
Kathy, I hope there is no fire season for you this year. April and October are usually our rainy months. The ash tree still has not leafed out. Weāll give it to mid to end of May before we think about chopping it down. It provides the most shade in the backyard and I would hate to lose it. So would the birds. The maple tree out front looks really good this year. We had it trimmed last year.
Karen, how were you feeling this morning? I hope iTone went well and wasnāt too tough. I have never seen an Eastern towhee. Theyāre pretty. We had two bluejays duking it out yesterday. We usually only see one.
The leg feels better so the stretches must have pinched something. I really donāt like stepping back from exercising, because I get lazy fast. I have been doing some seated exercises avoiding any leg exercises. I ordered another pair of the Clarkās sandals in a different color since they are so comfortable and Iāll need some shoes for the wedding a d rehearsal dinner. The wedding is supposed to be ācocktailā attire but Iām not buying fancy dress for one occasion. I have a dress that I bought but it can be dressed up or down or I may wear black slacks with a black chiffon top. Iāll probably take both since weāre driving.

Thanks for the start, Chele. LOL on your salt lecture. Is he so busy salting his food that he doesn't notice that you don't? Given the location of your pain, I think the doc nailed it. Too bad you have to wait until after your ultrasound before you can start PT. How was the fougasse? I know you like Iggy's baba ghanouj.
Linda, surgery is no fun at any age, but the older we get the more it takes out of us. Don't blame you a bit for being apprehensive about it. I think anyone would be. That surgery has come a long way over the years and you have the most up-to-date method with the robotics. I was listening to a podcast this morning and the researcher being interviewed said that hip and knee replacement patients burn 3 times the amount of protein they are taking in. So he recommends at least 2gm/kg during the post surgery/healing process. Please remember that when you are meal planning for your recovery. Dessert pierogis? That sounds intriguing. What kind did everyone have? You have the most interesting selection of restaurants. Glad DSIL is feeling better. Will you be transporting to the airport tomorrow? Nice of her to try to help by unloading the dishwasher, but I know how it can make things complicated, and it's difficult to cook in someone else's kitchen.
I'm glad the wildfires aren't hitting yet, Kathy. Fingers crossed the rainy season will keep them from firing up this year. Have you watched the most recent episode of Elsbeth? I need one of those orange coats and especially the mittens.
We had a good class this morning and it didn't wear me out like it has the last couple of weeks have. After class I ran to TJ Maxx for a couple of new racer back sports bras to go with a couple of tops I just bought and also picked up 8lb and 20lb kettlebells for Dale to give me for my birthday. I baked a loaf of sourdough after I got home and that's all I have planned for the day. We have a beautiful day and it's only gotten into the lower 60s, so pretty comfortable.
Happy š Day.

Chele, 1998 is the only year I remember where we had really bad wildfires in Central Florida. They do flare up sometimes though during this time of year. The current drought map is only showing one small region in the panhandle that's dryer than normal, but it's not in a drought situation yet. The rest of the state looks good so far. Hope you can start PT soon. Glad the leg feels a bit better today. Linda, I saw where all of the ProBoard forums were down for a while yesterday, so it wasn't just you. I'm sure you'll be relieved to have your house to yourself again. I haven't eaten at Cheesecake Factory for a while, but I remember they have some good options on the menu. From yesterday, yeah, nothing like getting lectured on something that you already know! Karen, the front came in early this morning, so I don't know if we actually got any rain from it. I watched the latest Elsbeth and I think I'll pass on the orange coat, lol. Will we ever find out what's in all those tote bags? Glad you had a good class. We might get a record low tonight in the upper 50s! It's only in the 70s now, so pretty nice.

We had blueberry, cherry and plum ā¦we have them in the freezer, but more fun to find a thing to do. She has never had them.
my surgery is not robotic.it has a long incision but a newer state of the art device with a metal that lasts longer. Surgeon does 30-40 of these a month with five star rating. I will know more next Tuesday for preop. Glad to have home care coming three times a week as this may have a tricky dressing to change. Db and friend had none. Hmm.
Karen, did figure protein for healing and keeping up the iron I regained. The only supplement I do not stop is D. So glad I do three dairy a day and have strong bones.
already a wild fire south of us, not near.
Chele, Clarks has comfy sandals, mine right now are Joseph Seibel for support. Mostly, I wear Brooks sneakers with my orthotics. hope you do not lose a tree.
