Good Morning, WW Friends ~
I am still here, home alone, and feeling absolutely miserable. Thank goodness I am on Tamiflu and rest and hopes of getting better.
I have had tons of texts and emails. Everyone wants to bring me food which is very heart-touching, but I honestly don't need anything right now. My Principal texted me and then checked in last night to make sure I was OK. She reminded me that if I needed anything at all, to call the school and someone would bring it to me.. I feel very loved and appreciated indeed.
BBL. Make a great day!

Hi Sue,
You ARE very loved an treasured and I am glad you are being treated that way. Good to be surrounded by loved ones and valued colleagues. What a great principal you have! I am sorry you still feel miserable and glad you have the Tamiflu. I know from three weeks being sick that it is simply NO fun at all. Today I did go for a pedicure since my ingrown was hurting. After that I stopped to pick up a grocery order from Stop & Shop. That was it, but I arrived home so tired and a bit lightheaded. Not sure why this is lasting so long. DH is not much better lately and I worry about him. No appetite and tired a lot. He called his dr. today. Hopefully, we will ALL be on the mend soon.
How is your DH doing, Sue? Hope you can just relax knowing he is being taken care of and that you need to do the same. Feet up in the recliner, binge watch some shows and read your books if you feel like it. Naps are great, too.
Waving to Pam...hope your ribs are not hurting so much.
It is a lovely day here today but chilly. At least we have sun. I am making some stuffed peppers for dinner or we might just have Hebrew National all beef franks on buns. One or the other... Lunch was leftover black bean soup.
TTFN...back to work!

Hi Sue,
I tried to send you a little e card to cheer you but it bounced back. Did you change your email? You can send it via a private message if you have a chance. I hope you are feeling a little better today and that the Tamiflu is kicking in.

Hi friends,
It’s been a bit of a bumpy time lately. My DH has pneumonia. He was just not improving during the last week. He was sleeping a lot, coughing more and finally today he went to the doctors and was diagnosed with pneumonia. He’s on three new meds now but at least he’s at home and hopefully will rest and recover here without hospitalization needed. I tried to talk him into going on Saturday and Monday, but he thought he was getting better. Finally today we realized things were headed in the wrong direction.
Sue, I’ve been thinking of you and hoping you are improving and just resting. Pam, looking forward to hearing from you too when you get a chance.
Have a good night everyone. I’m off to bed.

Happy Hump Day~
My DH came home from the hospital yesterday! We enjoyed a nice evening together and DH brought home Cobb Salads for supper. He was still on "hospital time" and woke up at 4 a.m. That was the time they woke him in the hospital each morning. So he got up and had cereal, read last Sunday's paper, and then in a couple of hours came back to bed.
We have a cold day on tap, but I haven't been going outdoors anyway. I do plan to go back to work next Monday, but that depends on how I feel. This has really taken it out of me!
Judy ~ So sorry about your DH and his pneumonia diagnosis. Wishing you both well!!
BBL. Make a great day!

Hi friends,
Glad your DH is home, Sue. No place like home to get better. Hope he is feeling better and you, too. It's been a bumpy ride for sure for both of you. Now you can rest and recover.
DH had a sleepless night with the coughing but we are hoping the meds kick in and do their jobs so that he can improve. Worrisome with his other conditions. I'm headed out to get him some probiotics to help with the strong antibiotics (two prescriptions).
Other than that, I am happy to be a bit distracted by work today. The routine helps calm my worries.
Take care.
