TRE. Yoga. Weigh in was exactly where I hope to maintain.
Traveling tomorrow.
My 42 hour therapeutic fast was easy and helpful for.my blood glucose levels. Might do another one this week. Tonight to Tuesday morning.

Yesterday was a really good day all around. Started with a really nice 4 mile morning trail walk with a walking/hiking group. Afternoon was Food prep, chores and Mom’s home spa treatment. Then our Bingo night, which Mom really enjoyed. It turned out almost everyone at our table knew my Mom from the senior center. She might know more people in town than I do…lol Food prep, I made 2 batches of the chia pudding and divided into 3 servings - came out to 130 cal (a little easier to fit in my calorie budget). This week I’m looking forward to warmer temperatures….. Jan, Happy Birthday to Jack!! Enjoy the Celebration!! I was happy to hear your Dr. was happy with 14-16 hr fasts. I typically fast 14 hrs in office days (set noon lunch time) and 16+ when home. Wondered if it was enough to make a difference. Fingers crossed regarding drama free work environment. Nancy, I’ve been listening to 2 podcast, clean and delicious and Dani Spies, she promotes balance of Whole Foods and non whole… she mentioned a good snack I’m going to make - cleananddelicious.com/frozen-banana-snack-bars/Kathy, Maintaining is the Best!!! C134D5, 1194 calories - PJ day today. Kathy - You've got this figured out. It's so exciting for me to follow your journey. The weekly 42 hour fast seems to be working, especially since you don't find it too difficult. Lori - I listened to this one www.youtube.com/channel/UCj0V0aG4LcdHmdPJ7aTtSCQ. I seem to be doing just what she's suggesting, i.e emphasis on whole foods with occasional exceptions and keeping track of calories while doing so. Can you link me to the second podcast if this was one of them. When time allows, I'll check out some of her recipes as well. I'm so glad you and your Mom are enjoying Bingo together and to know that she's finding friends in the area. It doesn't sound as if she'll be returning to her apartment (or is it a house?) Any thought of unloading it? |
