Good morning. Good plan June. Had a nice afternoon with Carol, Marge and Amby. She was running the gamut of emotions. A lot of anger but glimpses of hope. I put together her wig stands which made her happy. It was a very busy weekend up here so I expect a little more paperwork than normal.
S - Usual coffee B - Full frittata breakfast L - Onion soup with grilled swiss cheese D - Chicken marsala, sauteed garlic spinach E - Walking and stretching

Susi- you are so very thoughtful to do the big βlittle thingsβ to help Marge process and cope with her own health care plus Ambyβs. Thereβs so much for Marge to take in. I cannot imagine. -Hope that the busy week unfolds in ways that are manageable & that Tom can undertake a larger work load this season.

Have mercy. . . I spent the better part of the morning dealing w/ health related calls for R. I did accomplish my objectives, and at least on person responded just as anyone would hope- she was patient, thorough, and helpful. Another great example of the Universe having my back. π
I am giving myself credit. While I would like to rant a bit, but thereβs no point. I did my best, and R did as R wanted. The retelling would only keep alive negative thoughts & fuel negative energy.
I would appreciate good wishes for R. His coronary calcium scan results warrant further investigation. I got him the first available cardio consult (May 10th) plus have him on a waiting list if there is a cancellation. After the calls, I absolutely moved onto my planned bubble bath. It was relaxing as always.
moving on to the rest of my intentions.

June - Sorry you had to deal with that frustration. If venting will help remove the negativity, vent away. Or let your bubble bath soothe you. Glad someone was able to help you.
As of August 1st, Tom will officially start full time training to replace me. He needs to pick up an accounting course and need to find his replacement before that.

Good afternoon, all!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need...

It was BEAUTIFUL this morning, and there was ground fog as I took Son#1 to the train - THAT brings back memories of my earliest days at Trenton State College, right down to the way the air smells.
Yesterday I continued my slow pace right through to bedtime. I got two loads of laundry done so that leaves two loads for today. NASCAR Cup series was a good race. The YM/AV who collected the goggles at the end of drill Saturday dropped them off and we had a good talk. I finished the draft of the unit's MTS for May and sent it to the CO and XO/TO for review (the recruit one only goes to them and the youth trainers - who are still TBD).
Today I'll get those other two loads of wash done. I'll also wash the goggles to put back into the warehouse; they'll dry quickly in the sun. A look at our accounts shouldn't take long as May bills are coming due. The Kressling will undoubtedly come through after his shifts so I'll save time for hugging. And we'll pick up the Zigster from aftercare and bring him here for some Pippin time.
Yesterday's dinner was chicken breast with rice-a-roni and salad. Today I will cook both the beef and the pork low and slow in the oven. We are leaning toward the beef for tonight, perhaps with oven fries (haven't had THEM in a long time). Veg to be determined.
Coffee... βββ... morning prayer...

Afternoon all - work has calmed this week. The new person won't start til 5/13 and will actually be working with our current CFO before she leaves. I had applesauce and fresh pineapple for breakfast, a HC meal and a small granola bar for lunch. Grilled pchops is supper.
June, that is sweet that you dream of Joan every night. My dreams of Lisa are often strange but its good to visit with her none the less. I pray R can get in soon with a dr and can be checked and all will be well! Glad you could get a bubble bath to relax.
Susi, that was some mighty fine kitchen prep you did on Sunday. Glad you and Stephen could stay in touch even though he moved far away. The soup and cheese sandwich sounds yummy.
MJ, Randy and I love oven fries (maybe a little too much LOL)...esp sweet potato fries.
waving to Bee, Cathy and Ann...will cbl

Ladonnaβmmm. . . grilled pork chops are one of my fav meals. And oven fries are hard to beat. You sure had a nice variety of healthy options today. β glad that the situation surrounding the new CFO is supportive. Itβs always a good idea to let the veteran train the newbie. β love never dies, and those dreams remind us of loved ones remind us of that. βI wish that Richard would have acted last year as I requested. But we are where we are now. We will go forward. And we are fortunate to have a number of Cleveland Clinic trained cardiologist in our valley.
