Karen, the gold finch will do fly bys to get the feeder filled and the blackbirds just chatter incessantly. Did you make it to iTone? How are the arm and ribs today? Did you get hour hair cut short?
Kathy, I read that DeSantis and Trump are burying the hatchet. Thatās not good news. How are your DS and DBIL doing? Have they made any RV trips?
Linda, how is Bob doing today? How did your appt go? Did you get all your questions answered?
We are once again at 80Ā° and sunny, low humidity so itās nice. Iggy power washed the driveway. It hadnāt been done in a few years and was turning black. I made lunch of salmon patties, roasted butternut squash and a watercress and arugula salad with purple carrots and salad turnips. Simple but very good.
I called my PCPās office. They have the ultrasound results but the doctor āwas not taking calls today.ā I have to call back at noon tomorrow.

Thanks for the start, Chele. Interesting that you need to call at such an odd time tomorrow. I guess they don't take off for lunch. I'm surprised you didn't just get a referral. I made it to iTone today, but had to back off on the left side exercises. I managed to get through. I got my hair cut on the way home. Had to book out 2 appointments because she is getting so busy on Mondays, which used to be her quiet days. In fact, my next appointment will be on the way to Osteo. I didn't get it cut short-short, but she did thin it out quite a bit. That seems to help. Are you caught up on 9-1-1? Interesting that your gold finches will do what one of my hummers does. They know how to get their point across. Lunch sounds great!
Linda, how did the appointment go? Do you have a dog walker close enough that you could hire to walk Minni when you are not able to after surgery (and maybe before, given the pain you're in and Bob's spells)? I would be worried, too, about Bob walking her and falling, injuring himself and her running off. That would be awful.
I hope you have some clouds to keep down your temperatures, Kathy. We're in the 80s. I need to remember to start wearing shorts to iTone. It's getting a bit warm for tights.
We have a beautiful day in the low 80s but tomorrow is supposed to be just about opposite--low 60s and rain. I plan to try the rowing machine tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.

Trump and Lake are on the outs over her abortion blabbing both ways. Ha
Karen, glad you made it through. Be careful.
Chele, guess the report is not too exciting.
Really do not trust other people to walk Minni..her behavior can be odd but we expect it. Stopped walk today. She went in the yard after I met her roam after she ate.she always gets a really good treat right after and looks for it. We stopped the on walks two weeks ago and she decided the yard was it evenings. So she is kind of a vested to it. So she gets outdoor sniffing leash free time, frisbee chasing and more play inside. I can take her again when I am better and need the exercise myself. DH's main problem is picking up poop and getting dizzy. Maybe we can walk together a little when I am mostly healed and having a lot of short walks in rehab.he needs exercise.
Pre-op today ..doom is coming in two weeks on Wed, the 15th . I should be overnight and released around lunch next day.
They have arranged with AZ home Care for therapist to come three times a week..first one Friday am. Ihave a pedal machine coming temporarily instead of that continuous motion thingā¦ latest machine, more range ( more pain?)
I have a spinal to last the two hours of surgery so they need less anesthetic. Then a nerve block in the abductive (?) canal along the thigh to last 24 hours. Afternoon after surgey it wears off. š¢Then Percocet and Advil or Alieve and baby aspirin. If I remember, Percocet makes me hyper. I guess days 2-3 are the worst.
Got a Walker with wheels. Have the little ice machine you use with frozen water bottles. 20 min every hour waking, a raised foam block for keg to lie flat in, and a shower cover for the bandage that comes off in 2.5 weeks post opā¦little longer because of Memorial Day. Have raised toilet seat, cane, shower chair and Walker basket. What fun.
He is arranged for my usual gel hy. Acid shot in the other knee about three weeks after surgery with my regular knee doc. Got to keep the other knee going!

Chele, I saw that about Trump and DeSantis too. I'm sure they're up to no good. DS and DBIL have made some short RV trips around Florida. I'm not sure what they'll do longterm as I don't think the camper van is great for longer trips. Well, at least you know your test results aren't urgent which is a good thing. Hope you can get the PT set up soon.
Karen, it was warmer today, but still in the 80s. As long as it goes down into the 60s at night, it stays pretty pleasant during the day. I wish it would last longer! I watched Elsbeth and agreed with your guess. I've always thought the Captain being guilty would be too obvious, but I guess we'll find out. Or maybe we won't find out yet not if there's a second season.
Linda, the 15th is coming up fast, but sounds like you're gotten most of your to do list taken care of.
