Good morning,
Time to Move It! Get your week off to a good start with a brisk walk, some stretching...something to get that body in motion and make it an active week. Just got back from the gym and it's hard to believe how much lighter it is now earlier--at about 5:15 am you could start seeing the light of day. I think that, because of the cloudiness that we have had so much, I hadn't really noticed the light. Hoping that this means that Spring is here (please?)
Carole: Ummmm, no.... I can think of several other reasons why Zoe had those bad dreams! I think that others better suspend judgement on it unless they want to open a can of worms...I think that Patti is probably not open to hearing about all of the things that Zoe sees on the computer, etc. How sad that they would bring up the movies of all things. I hope that you have some nice weather today....are you maybe able to take a brief walk? DM really liked the place yesterday--the problem is though that she wants a 2-bedroom place and it is beyond her budget. She wants the place with the view, etc. SO, I am hoping that we visit the other place (closer) this Saturday as planned. At least she was talking more about selling her house, etc. Have a good day!
Jenny: I am so glad that Audrey had a nice bday---sorry about the music choices and your dad though, LOL. It keeps him young in spirit! I hope that you all make that switch to the new meeting time and it works out. I agree, it seems like they are moving away from meetings (so few are in No. CA now). Kind of sad!
Sue: Your outdoor furniture is looking great! I love that view of the field in your backyard...is it some kind of crop or something? Hope that yesterday was a good day.
Well, I better get moving to make my first meeting at 7:30 am....hope to check in later. Have a good day!

Jenny: Glad Audrey had a good time, but I'd be like your Dad! LOL OK Sounds good - for some reason I had written 9/10 - 9/14... and I thought 9/10 was a Saturday... so I will re-work the plan! OYE! Not sure how I messed that up so badly!
Sue: Those chairs look like ours. Very comfy, and a matching table.
My Satisfaction Sunday took a turn! UGH! With doing the tub, I wasn't able to power wash! Running two hoses, the pressure wasn't enough to use the washer! So maybe today I will get the ramp done? Woke up with a headache (again) so not too anxious to get moving here!
Gabrielle: Thanks, no Patti is not going to agree that her VR games and You Tube videos are a problem. I sent the email last night, and have gotten zero response, so there ya' go!
Sorry DM wants a 2 bedroom, and it's over budget. Why does she think she needs a 2nd bedroom?? After selling her house, couldn't she (maybe) budget a little higher? Yes, the good news is she IS still talking about selling her house. I forget, is this the house you grew up in? Hope your day goes well, I'm sure your morning trip to the gym helped get you moving.
Not much planned here today. It is supposed to e up in the 70s but it is overcast, so not sure what I will get done outside. I will head out and try, but can't play in cold water if it's not warm out there.
Ken spoke to the nurse today, he had sent a message to his Dr. and the nurse called to get more info. She said the Dr. will probably give it a week, and if not better he should schedule an appointment! UGH Another week of listening to this cough? Making ME crazy!!Whatever. Maybe I WILL stay outside more today - so I do NOT have to listen to it all day!
♥hugs♥

Good morning
Carole my original plans were those days at first but I extended it so we don’t have to rush and take our time and enjoy it, so I leave on the 9th and come back on the 17th. I’m not sure about my flights yet as I need to call and change things around. I’m excited.
Sorry that your Sunday went a-ry, I’m happy you got HT time though. I had a nice weekend, my sister got my mom and dad’s groceries for them so I didn’t.
Gabrielle I’m still waiting for the swelling to go down in my ankle so I can walk on my Matt again, hopefully soon.
Ok gotta run for now

Evening all....opted to go to the pool tomorrow instead of toady because the boys are here, Sarah took Kellen to practice so Jackson and I have been hanging out....he's in the shower now and everyone should be home before long....S/K from practice that ends shortly and Jason from the lot, planting potatoes!! Another beautiful "summer day" here in Glenville! While I know our 4-5 days of summer won't last, it's heavenly in my world....unfortunately after this glorious week we head into a week of off and on rain.....temps still in the mid 70's but would be better with sun. The boys and I will be putting together the last 4 chairs on Thursday....I asked if they wanted to "earn a few bucks" to help me out and they both said yes so Thursday is the only day they are here with not practice/game for Kellen! This weekend I plan to start the porch furniture with or without help!!
Day was busy....got 1st MEAP finished, all the orders that came in before the next dropped and have made great progress on the 2nd one.....looking like we should be in decent shape tomorrow on the last day of the month as long as tomorrow doesn't bury us....but won't know that till tomorrow! It is what it is!!
Gabrielle...I'm still SMH that we are in the 80's and you are in the 60's....that's just so odd in my brain!! Sorry Ed's back is causing issues. Is it from running or from overuse doing thing on the ranch and around the house??? Never know when we get old.....I know my back can be "iffy" for no apparent reason!! Fingers crossed trip to adult living place is a good one..... So glad Tyler's "30th Celebration" was a good on! Glad you got to meet Kristyn and she seems nice, smart and good for Max....if he seems happy....hope it "sticks"!!
As you see from my photo, driveway is done and the house that Jim power-washed because of the head gasket issue on Friday looks great! Can't wait to be able to park over here but now done, I can be patient!! The fire pit and table are here but will put it all together next weekend or maybe Thursday when the chairs are done, if we have time...can't wait for it all to fall into place....I'm hoping that I can get all the furniture for the porch done this weekend as well!! Jason has to get some of stuff he "stashed" in there for the winter out so I can organize it as I want!! He told me he would have it done by the weekend!!
Actually Gabrielle...I didn't realize there was a pellet option when I bought it...I got it because it got great reviews and was "smokeless" which was a plus....will let you know about that one! I got an email a day or two after I bought it that said "people also bought...." and that is when it showed the pellet option...nothing I will do at this point but a nice option for sure... Looking forward to another home game on Friday so I'll head to field after work....will make sure I have plenty of layers just in case it gets cold again this week....it shouldn't because the day high is about 12-15 degrees higher but we never know! Yes, great to catch it early for Rose but she is indeed frustrated!! It's scary how fast viruses/bacteria mutate but thankfully if you have the "ground work" of the bug, like COVID, vaccines and meds can be tweaked quickly....thankfully technology has also progress a loth over time!! Just checked on her and she needs to be at the hospital at noon for procedure by 2:00.....fingers crossed this is the last invasive procedure....as I think I mentioned she will lightly be in a light sedation like a colonoscopy and she might stay overnight only because her procedure is so late!!
Sounds like DM is actually at peace with the idea that a senior living community might be a good thing at this point! I know for me, it give me peace of mind for both DM and Pat.....I know both are where they need to be...yes, Pat could have moved into an apartment and handled that for several more years but the Brethren Home has such an awesome community that even in the "village" where she is, she's independent....she can opt for any added amenities like meals, someone to clean, etc but otherwise she is totally independent with a pull cord in every room, someone to check on her....comfort and independence!! Yes, Pat still drives and that gives her the independence too....she and dad were planning to move there before he got cancer for the security of medical care and the independence but NOT the yard work, snow removal, repair bills, etc....perfect for the older adults on fixed income that don't or can't handle the upkeep of a house. Dad loved to mow and putter in the yard but knew that time might come that he might not be able to do it....Brethren home gave him/them the best of both worlds!!

Gabrielle...try not to think too much about he anemia until the colonoscopy/endoscopy....you'll hopefully have answers by then! I know it's hard to just wonder. Love your thought on the 9:00am meeting for Jenny...yes, maybe a new routine....9:00 isn't terribly early but definitely a new routine for sure!!
Well Carole....Saturday was actually miserable weather but Sunday, today and few more days are heavenly!! Friday for Kellen's game was decent until the sun went down and we froze our buns off....Saturday was cold, windy, rainy....NOT a nice day!! Jason even tried to go out for a while and even he came in!! I'm thinking your Saturday was my Friday and it was a beautiful day until the sun went down and I got cold!! Can't believe it's time to get the pool ready to open but then again it's May in 2 days!! I agree with Tracy I hate the smoke but according to the website and the reviews, the Solo Stove is smokeless!! We'll see! I think this is the one Hannah and Shea got because it's portable....They can use it in the backyard and like during COVID, they carried it to the driveway for a "social distanced" firepit!!
Honestly Carole...I do NOT think the fun old movies of Matt would cause Zoe's "nightmares" and the fact she dreamt she killed Gramma Kathy is NOT anything that would have been art of your family movies!! Yes, YouTube and many other VR things might be more the source!!
Yes Carole...Jason actually helped me get the furniture we did put together done yesterday...I could have done it by myself but an extra person definitely made it easier and faster....40 minutes....NO WAY....took us 3 hours to put together the 2 chairs and table....and yes, they chairs are comfy....do yours have cushions??? I love the fact the umbrella actually covers the entire length of the table....granted that only works for part of the day but as the sun moves, the one end of the table/chairs ends up in the sun but still leaves lots of shaded space to enjoy!!
Nope...I feel bad for Jim and the added expense from Friday equipment snafu and the loss of 3 tons of black top but I guess it's part of owning your own business....Jason talked to him today and he said there would be no extra cost. After sloping the driveway he could not totally slope it away from the house/garage because we are close to the top of the knoll/hill he would have to drop the driveway almost a foot to do that....because he figured we would prefer a flatter, more level driveway he slopped what he could and we might think about the a "drain/grate" along the door of the garage.....we will watch it over the summer and see what happens...if we opt to do that it would be $800...not too bad and still within what we expected to pay for the driveway but if that helps....we will do it!! Scott's crew had ground down the concrete of the garage floor and that helped a lot but now the garage floor and driveway are level so it might cause more water?? So will keep an eye on it and decide later.
OH YUCK Jury duty.....I might be jinxing myself but I have never been called...Jason has been a couple times but they never kept him!! Hope you don't have to stay!! I know when Jason was there for a day or two we lost a lot of pay....now many employers are compensating what the government doesn't....fingers crossed I never get called! So far, so good for the internet at work...one more day!! Hoping I'm not there forever tomorrow!
LOL Carole...if we lived closer, we still have a few Hostas we could share...I told Jason as things were being ripped out that we don't need to plant them again!! Thankfully we don't have any random rogue plants. I too googled GSL and had no luck!! I too contemplated swapping the flannels last weekend but then I saw the forecast and decided...nope, one more week!! I have gotten in the habit of putting on two top sheets for years now...sometimes I need a bit more than the sheet but not a blanket....seems to work perfectly for those in between season nights.
Jason home and chatting...sweet dreams all!! See you in the morning....I know I'm not caught up but hey, can't totally ignore my hubby!! LOL!!
