I can track every BLT and make healthy choices. It is a cloudy perhaps rainy day and we have plenty of options for meals. I am going to keep this short because...I have to go make lunch.
Hope all have plans to enjoy a Merry Month of May

Cathy- solid plan for the last of April. - Itβs easier to stay OP with you have many tasty options for meals. - Hard to believe that May is already here! We are experiencing summer like weather in NE OH. So, it feels more like June.

Tuesdayβs intentions Make a start at decluttering the hall closets. Talk to R about the baseboards in the living room & hallway. Make a grocery run. Pick up some cold medicine. The baby shared her head cold with us.

Good morning, all!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need...
ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅π
It is a gray morning. Much cooler than yesterday (it got downright toasty yesterday!). Rain is not in the forecast but the humidity is 83%. Good day for coffee, book, and Pippin. Not sure that's what will happen, though.
Yesterday I finished off the YM unit MTS and sent it off to Commander and also the XO/TO since it involves a LOT of training stuff. That will go out to the parents today. This morning I will send the Recruit Parent Newsletter to the Commander so he can send it to the parents of the recruits. First session in May is on Wednesday 5/8. I also got those d@ng M65s through the wash. They're hanging in our bathroom with the dehumidifier running. I'm still missing one, not counting the ones that are in the possession of the people who never re-registered last year <sigh>.
Yesterday was MrLogan's birthday; we sent greetings via text. We'll see him and MissMilla on Friday evening at The Plantation so we'll give them their birthday cards then (HER b'day is 5/5 - one week after Logan's). We spent quite a bit of the afternoon at the MousekeHouse. MousekeTWO has a bad earache (he NEVER gets earaches) and asked for a Pippin visit, plus MissMouse wanted to borrow our spot cleaner for the sofa cushions. We'll see THEM again on Wednesday afternoon when we do a school pickup and karate dropoff (both parents have an in-office day). As a result the Zigster barely got in here yesterday before he had to go home, but he did get early dessert.
Today I will push to get the Recruit MTS updated and also work on the June MTS since the unit and recruit days will overlap but not be exactly the same. This is a LOT of "little details" especially about the timing of the days, so that may be ALL I do before I sit and snuggle Pippin.
Yesterday's dinner was beef cooked low and slow, with baked Yukon Gold potato and green beans. Tonight we'll have pork roast, sides TBD.
Coffee... βββ... morning prayer...
π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π± Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±

I shall prepare to engage my opponent in the morning.
In the meantime I shall continue to look for something I have misplaced. You would think it would be easy to find - but NOOOOOO.
I have shopped for groceries, put them up and made me a broccoli salad. It is so good.
Not sure why I coughed and sneezed all day yesterday and felt like a herd of long horned cows ran over me - back to normal this morning. And I am glad.
Keeping all in prayer.

Good afternoon. Sorry about the cold, June. Cathy - Good plan MJ - Happy birthdays to the grands Bee - Prepare for battle! Hope you find what you are looking for.
All is well here. Work was fairly busy which makes the day go fast. Even though Tom will not start serious training until August, I've had some annual things pop up that I will train him on since I won't be here for them. I think he is going to do really well and possibly even automate some of the job which will allow him to take on additional responsibilities from the CFO. If I wasn't retiring, I would have asked for more responsibilities the last couple of years.
S - Usual coffee B - French toast with blueberry compote and fresh blueberries L - Greek style salad with chicken D - Norwegian salmon, teriyaki glazed carrots E - Walking and stretching.

Mj- Sorry to hear that you are still missing one of the nine M65s so long after that rainy event a few weeks ago. Ughβ on the unitβs gear still MIA from last year. Too bad those involved arenβt doing to right thing. Returning late is far better than never returning them. -Dinners sound very yummy. -Nice that you will have the opportunities to spend time with several grandchildren this week. Sending happy birthday wishes to Mr Logan & MissMilla! Hope M2βs earache has vanished. -Nice to hear that the YMβs materials are more organized and happen with far less drama than the MB stuff ever does.

Bee- hope that the contest was decided in your favor. -Isnβt it something how a certain dish or meal just hits βthe spotβ?
-In N Falls, I sneezed a lot because of the amount of cologne that men were wearing. Have mercyβ it sure had hang time in the elevator is all that I am saying.
Susi- always nice when a work day flows by. - Yes, when you are planning to retire soon, you can develop a different mindset about new chores and innovations. Glad that you can show Tom some of the annual, Spring tasks. I know that I did not pay much attention to the issue of AIs in classroom assignments since all my writing tasks were in class & I. The moment. If I teach the online class, I will have to get up to speed in that area.

Hello everyone -about to end the work day. Been steady busy but nothing over the top - Had a repeat B/L and I'm wanting some salmon for dinner so we will see if I can make that happen. I ended up inviting Randy, Haley and the baby to eat pchops with us last night. Side were not as healthy as they should have been but tonight will be better for just Randy and myself.
June I've been a bit sneezy today - I feel like several of the things I've dealt with this past cold/flu season was going round and round thru the family...Renee currently has an ear infection but seems just as pleasant as always. Her mama said she was grumpy the night before and pulling at her ear. Were you able to get R in for an appt? Randy, and if I'm honest myself included are bad about ignoring signs and symptoms but we are both trying to do better.
Cathy, wishing you a merry month also and I hope you had a great lunch!
MJ, hbd to Mr Logan and Ms Milla!
Bee, sometimes something will be in my way over and OVER again but when I need it of course it is no where to be found! Glad u are feeling better!
Susi, your menu today sounds great. Glad you feel Tom will be competent. You have worked so long and should fully enjoy your retirement. Like you, if I was not nearing retirement I'd totally add to my degree so I could qualify for the CFO job. It would make a huge difference in salary but with only 4 more years to work now is not the time to enroll in classes. If I was younger for sure.
