Good morning Christine! Thanks for getting us going. Track More Tuesday is a great theme for the day---and I need to start tracking, period! It is not as cool this morning (49) and supposed to heat up to 68 degrees-- happy to have sunshine before the cold, rainy front moves in this weekend. Yesterday was a decent work day and counting on it again today. So, our court date was bumped a day now to May 8th (and now the other side wants two days in court to present all of their exhibits -- there are a ton of duplicate exhibits though so I don't know if the judge will allow it? We'll see. The good news about the one day move is that I can attend the end-of-the-year celebration at work on 5/7 where they honor retirees and I will get my 10-year acknowledgement (35 years in education). I was kind of sad to be missing that. I also got my colonoscopy moved to 6/4 and I am on the waiting list for May. The only bummer is that it is at 3:00 pm which means a full day of nothing but water (not even colored things)...I will be hungry for sure but glad to have it all done.

Good Morning Everyone! Did the TM this morning again - trying to start back up - yesterday I programmed it at a higher speed to really pump up my heart rate and did it again today too - of course it's registering only as 'moderate' but hey, gotta start somewhere! lol After my shower I was still sweating! lol Yuck This morning I made sure to take a cool shower and I'm sitting in front of an open window - lol Weather is cooler out today. We had 70s yesterday which was so nice! Rain and 50s today. I sat outside on the front porch last evening - on Sunday I scrubbed down the porch and hosed it down - nice and fresh and ready to sit out. Gary helped me carry the rocking chairs out there Next will be the Deck furniture but again, it's still raining here most days. Today starts the State Math testing followed by Science on Thursday and Friday. In between it all still trying for Reading make up sessions. I finished most yesterday - a lot of students out sick here and there last week during the Reading testing. I'm just staying focused and pushing forward! It helps that most of my Fulton Co reports are finished! Sue - good for you getting started on the new Patio furniture! You will enjoy it! Even if the Boys are not there or Jason is not home, imagine sitting out there on your laptop enjoying the evening! You will get plenty of use out of it and your screened in porch too. Glad the driveway project is finished! Hooray! Carole - what a great feeling to be able to putter around and power wash when you want and how you want! No time limits! YAY! Of course you got the blame for Zoe's nightmares! smh - ridiculous - when you know the home movies were NOT the cause! Shame on your sisters for finger pointing. How fun to put together the travel itinerary for our Jenny when she visits your area! Gabrielle - Oh my, your DM on her thoughts on moving. If your sister is the one pushing for it then is she the one being realistic what DM can afford? I agree with it being dark outside due to the rain clouds in the morning - it's tough to know is it dawn or is it just cloudy? lol Glad DS has a nice GF - fingers crossed, Mama! Jenny - I still can't believe Audrey is 21~~ love it!! How's your ankle feeling? That is so hard when you don't want to make it worse! Yes, be careful there! DM is having a procedure next week (she actually will allow me to take her) where they are placing a 'Watchman' in to monitor her heart area in the place of blood thinners. Since she can't be trusted to take blood thinners correctly- remember how she took Aleve with blood thinners last year and caused internal bleeding and ended up in the hospital for a weekend - since that episode they took her completely off blood thinners and now she asked for this Watchman. May 7th they will surgically place it in - sounds like it's an outpatient procedure but knowing Virginia they'll end up keeping her overnight for observation. I'll take that Tuesday off from work to be with her - yesterday was her CT scan as part of the prep for this procedure. She adamantly refused to let me take her to that and complained last night she had to wait 2 hours and it was all very intense! And now her doctor has to wait a week for results - I'm never sure what to believe. Anyways - I hope everyone has a GREAT TUESDAY and take some time to TRACK your day!

Enough about me.....
Sue: Wow, the driveway looks beautiful! How exciting to have things pretty much done (except for assembly of some things). I know that you will post pictures...looking forward to it! Everything around your house is so green now---it is like that here too and it is such a pretty time of year. Enjoy your pool time today! Oh, and I know that DM will be fine once moved...she seems much more "willing" now --hoping that our visit on Saturday leads to meeting some nice people. The people we met on Sunday were so independent and friendly...I want her to see the same on Saturday--not a lot of people who can hardly get around (and it makes her feel so old).
Jenny: I am sorry to hear that your ankle is still swelling ---I hope that is all resolved soon so that you can get back on your walking mat.
Carole: Ugh, sorry about Patti not seeing the potential for the games, videos, etc. affecting Zoe's sleep. My mom's financial situation is just "okay"...she doesn't have a lot of credit card debt or anything but she never owned her home and had a HELOC as well (because she had to have the beautiful yard, upgrades to the house when she wanted them, etc.) so she probably has equity---maybe 40% of the value of her house. So, projecting forward, it would mean only about 5 years of additional income to her SS, etc. if she paid the "extra" for the fancy place. I was kind of happy yesterday when I called her to confirm a couple of her monthly expenses and she told me that she decided she didn't want to live on such a tight budget in the 2 BR place and wants to seriously look at the place on Saturday. I was not planning on contributing a chunk of my income to cover my mom's living situation when I retired so I am relieved. Honestly Carole, she really wants to surround herself with beautiful things---I think it is how she "pictures" she should be living --- I have never really understood it. Yesterday she told me that she was describing her current house to someone and they asked her what kind of floors she had and she said, "hardwood but they are old-- in just okay condition." They are in PERFECT condition! I can't believe how she characterizes things like that! I don't understand...but I am glad that she is initiating a lot of this. I do think that she is kind of sad now that she didn't take in the couple of potential renters in her empty downstairs apartment over these last couple of years (like she said she would)....it would have meant thousands of dollars of more income. Oh well, it was her choice. Enough about all of this! Wow, I hope that Ken's cough resolves soon.....do you think it is tied to pollen, etc? I hope that it is taken care of easily.

Christine: Yay for getting the porch clean and the rocking chairs out there! Also for the increased effort on the TM---way to go! I love it when you can see progress on things like that--very motivating. I have heard of the whole watchman thing before but don't know a lot about it. It sounds like they are being appropriately cautious with her? What a great feeling to have the Fulton reports pretty much done---thank goodness. I hope that testing continues to plug along.....
Okay, time to go and get ready to run this morning. I have a two-day meeting in Sacramento on Thurs/Fri (another of the "lasts" in my year---I started on this state group 10 years ago), but my last meeting on Friday is from 4-5, uggh! Oh well. See you all later--will try to pop in? It didn't work out yesterday but might today.

Jenny: OK Thanks... I was hoping more than 4 days! LOL Glad your DS is helping with your folks. Oh... BTW... Dh is looking at a walking mat... can you share (again) the link for what you got, please?
Sue: NICE driveway. Glad the boys will help assemble furniture with you. I am so over this cloudy - rainy - chilly weather. Well, LOL I actually don't remember if the patio set has cushions or not. I know the two sets on the front porch do, but the table ones I'm not sure. I know they are good with no cushion - better for wet bathing suits.
I am hoping when I call today, I won't even have to report to jury duty tomorrow. Hope I am not jinxing myself now.
Christine: Thanks for starting us off today. Yes... back to tracking!! I tracked yesterday, didn't reach my goals - didn't eat enough - but did get my water!!
Gabrielle: OK So now we are happy to have the court case moved a day - but let's hope it is kept to the one day, and not changed again! Congrats on 10/35 years - that's amazing. Glad your colonoscopy got moved up for you. Fingers crossed you can get in in May.
Christine: YAY for the TM routine again. Same here - no point rushing to get the patio furniture out yet! UGH! Good luck with Virginia and her upcoming procedure.
Gabrielle: Oh dear... sorry your DM thinks her floors are not "good enough"... and she has this image of what she should have. Phew, glad she has agreed to a 1 bedroom, and is looking at this seriously this week. Fingers crossed the people you meet are still independent and can get around just fine.
I have no idea about Ken's cough - but it is making me crazy! Today is the sleep Dr consult, so maybe she will notice the cough and suggest a PCP visit!
Sue: Hope the day is going along smoothly. Enjoy the pool today!
Thanks ladies - I know the nightmares are not from seeing Matthew when he was 3-5 years old! Gosh seeing ME back in 1989 is scarier than seeing Matt! LOL The girls couldn't believe how much alike all 3 of us girls, (sisters & I) looked back then. Eden looked at me and said "no offense Gramma, but you are prettier now". ♥
So I emailed Patti & Kathy, on Sunday, with my concerns... and my offer to help in any way. Well, surprise - SURPRISE - NO REPLY! UGH! I can't seem to let it go - I am so worried about Zoë. I don't think they talk with her about Matt at all. I just don't know what to do.
I am really struggling today. Between the crappy weather, and my worries about Zoë, and today is check in with Kait. That requires answering some difficult questions as to my past week, on the program! All in all I am just feeling very down and out.
I contacted my sleep doctor about still not feeling refreshed in the morning, after sleeping 10 hours!! She has ordered another test! Not sure what it entails, but it's an O2 test, overnight, while on CPAP. Waiting for the CPAP people to let me know what it is and how to do it!
Yesterday I got another 4+ hours of power washing done. Now I have only the dining room/living room (outside) walls and about 1/2 the patio left to do. Then I can start on furniture, and after we uncover the pool, I can do that as well. Not today... not in the mood, and possible rain so eh' it can wait.
Ken is doing a pick up order at BJs on his way home from the doctor. So tonight and/or tomorrow I can get some prepping done. Today while he is gone, I will clean out the fridge and get the dishes done, to be ready to start all over again!
We are also trying to plan a January trip to FL. Chance to meet up with some friends that winter down there, and just get away after the holidays.
OK Time to get moving. Actually way PAST time to get moving here today.
♥hugs♥

Carole here is my walking pad, if I had to do it over again I would buy one with the bar that lights up. It’s a lot easier to grab
