Good morning
50, no rain today! High of 67...no winds either!!
Robin, Tony stresses to me that the other women are phone buddies, and he has one woman up by Crandon who is a fishing buddy. He said if I could see her, I would totally agree that it is all she could be is a fishing buddy. I am fine with that, as I don't do fishing.
He did say he cannot pay for my whole trip in June. I can't exactly remember, but I think it was the hotel stay he couldn't pay for. I went through all my finances from now till the end of July, and I would be tight, to say the least if I tried to put that trip in there. I normally need more warning for something like that. And with it being summer, I will not have any school checks after the end of June, till the end of September. I will, if I have time, look at it once more, maybe tomorrow morning, when my eyes are fresh, and see before telling him on Thursday. I truly would love to go, but....
Oh no about the tooth!! I hope it takes it easy on you till Monday.
Do you leave today?
Oh, I see you looked at Tony. He is such a nice man, and yes, he looks ok, thank you. The dogs are what he calls his grandchildren, as the dogs are his daughters, and his daughter will never have children. Like me, he cannot have pets at his apartment.
Marsha, I am surprised your DS played lacrosse. I did not think GB schools had that at all. I know DBIL stepson went to Bayport, and they had it. He really loved it. I would toss the stick in the garbage.
Tony asked me if I would go on the ferry to Michigan, which I did when I was around 16, and liked it, so he was happy I would do that, to go north through Michigan. That trip, I do know, will get kind of expensive; this is just at such a bad time for me. But he has trips planned for July and August, then I go back to school.
I can feel you pulling a muscle! It is so easy to do!! I too did something, which I worry is a bruised rib, as Tony wanted a hug, and he hugs hard, so I ended up with a pain. Always something in my old age.
DGD has her solo ensemble this Saturday at UWGB, which I am passing on, as it is in the morning, and I have way too much stuff going on this weekend, plus I have not been out there since there used to be the fireworks out there and would not be able to find where to go. Just easier to not go.
Gareth, I was a bit shocked when I read you were home from the courthouse! Lol!!!
Tony insists on paying the bill when we go out to dinner, like for a date. Or to a play or some kind of event. He never said anything about paying for a whole trip. And he did make it clear when he brought up this trip, that he could not pay for the whole thing, which by right, he shouldn't.
For what it is worth, I have never stuck to a book that I felt was not worth my time.
Carol, I am a bit surprised your DS is still in the hospital, I hope things aren't worse than what we are hearing. I had a time with anti-nausea meds too but was so happy to be in my bed. I did spend 1 night in the hospital till they regulated my hydration, from the anti-nausea meds. In all the time I was dealing with my lung cancer, the longest I was in the hospital was 4 days for the actual cancer removal. I am praying for her.
Good to hear about your DDIL. Nice she has a date for going back to work.
I had heard some of those areas that got those tornadoes could get more tonight. All of that would drive me right out of those areas.
Sorry you missed your get together with your friends, but better safe than sorry, right?
Anngie, thank you, that is exactly what Tony is: a gentleman. I do have a challenge with him though to get him to not say that nasty word, which surprises me, with his personality. He has been trying to avoid it I noticed, this last time we were together.
Lol, yes, as I follow a dating coach on FB, how to tell if a man is taken with you, or serious about you, is if he wants you to meet his friends. His birthday is June 8th, which is a Saturday, and he is throwing himself a birthday party at a restaurant, and wants me there, in fact insists I am there. More friend meeting time.
Pinky, hello. It is that time of the year, for seed, right? Glad you could escape and go to breakfast.
Guess what I saw on Facebook last night? The guys that bought my DB house, for a song, ($40,000), posted it on FB for sale! Totally furnished. The selling price is $224,900!!!! There is an overhead picture of it. I will share it on the FB page. The girls last night tried to get me to buy it, but I do not want home ownership and all the responsibilities of home ownership. Plus, the price of that house is so daunting!!!
DD2 thinks the guys were never able to make a go of it as an Airbnb. I agree.
