Ladonna- sorry to hear that Renee has an ear infection, but it’s good that she wasn’t miserable when you saw her. - My cold is pretty mild. I had a few sniffles, a couple impressive sneezes, and a very slight chill. So far, I haven’t bothered with any OTC cold medicine. - I got an appt. for R on May 10th. And he is on a waiting list. I am praying for the best possible outcome.

Good morning. It is another gloomy day but it is nice that it is not HOT! I have kale to cook and have never made it before so will be researching how to prepare it. I will probably make beets and sweet potatoes to go with it and we could have beans or have nonfat labne with fruit for the protein? We will see.
Yes I CAN have a healthy day today by making nutritious food choices, hydrating, and walking for 30 minutes.
I've caught up on news but don't have time to do personals as it is nearly noon and I have not even started cooking lunch! Wishing you all a good nights sleep so you feel rested when you wake in the morning!

Cathy- hope that you enjoy your first kale recipe. I have only eaten it in snack form as “chips.” The nutrients &color it would add to your plate makes it worth exploring. Enjoy your labne with fruit. - hope that your walk is quickly accomplished.

Wednesday’s intentions Complete anything from yesterday’s list that I did not finish. The very wet April has encouraged more property upkeep. So R & I will be busy with those tasks. B: Gk yogurt, mixed berries L: homemade bean soup, salad D: Taco meat & refried beans served over tortilla chips w/ shredded lettuce & tomatoes ** more water **

Good morning!
I was up early and I think the TB is still asleep - I've heard not a peep. I am down 6 smidgens. It took over 17 years to hit my goal, and in 1 week I bounced out, and now I am back in that decade. Rah! Rah!
Cathy, your meal looked good on FB. I have eaten kale, but rather spinach.
June, I am having the same thing for dinner. using venison and chili beans.
Waving to LaDonna, Susi and MJ.
Keeping all in prayer.

Congratulations, Bee! That’s quite an accomplishment!
Enjoy your version of our dinner. My taco mix is made w/ ground turkey. For some reason, I prefer it.

🐰 White Rabbit! 🐰 White Rabbit! 🐰 It's the first day of MAY!!! 🐰
It is another gray morning. Cool start, heading to the 70*s. Rain is not in the forecast but the humidity is 90%. According to weather.com "There is a marginal risk of severe weather today."
Yesterday I sent out the YM unit MTS for May and provided Commander with the recruit parent newsletter (I don't know when/if he will send that out, but I hope it's soon). I worked on the recruit MTS and I've at least got the first weekend done.
The Kressling has a four-day drill weekend so he'll be driving down to his Aunt Debbie's tonight (that's his "family hotel" since it's too far to drive back and forth). Son#1 is borrowing the MusicMobile (Toots' Camry) and had his own plan as to how/when it would go to Fords - a day early, in our thinking. His plan did not match Toots' plan so things got a bit scrambly in the afternoon. We also picked up the Zigster from aftercare so I got to have a brief chat with Son#1.
MousekeTWO was feeling better yesterday but stayed home from school (still running slight fever, has ear infection). MissMouse is sending him to school today; we'll see if he lasts or needs to come home. In any case, we are on duty to get the Mouseketeer to his karate class for 4 PM.
Today I will continue to work on YM drill-planning stuff. Yes, it's taking up a lot of my time. This is intentional. This is not the only reason, but is a substantial component, for my walking away from M🌺B&T.
Yesterday's dinner ended up being a Chicken Galore special (Toots was thrilled). Tonight will be that pork roast.
Coffee... ☕☕☕... morning prayer...
🌿🌸🍃🌼🌿🌸🍃🌼🌿🌸🍃🌼🌿🌸🍃🌼 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌿🌸🍃🌼🌿🌸🍃🌼🌿🌸🍃🌼🌿🌸🍃🌼
M🌺B&T: T sent out a message to M🌺B at 5:04 AM eastern to verify today's 2 PM leadership team meeting. Since he didn't answer immediately there won't be a response for hours yet (6-hour time difference). In any case, I will send my regrets. This afternoon's MousekeStuff starts kicking in at 3 PM and I will be focusing on all those moving parts, which are MUCH more important to me.

I'm here but quite busy this morning. I'll try for personals later. WI was below goal for the month, although not by much. Lack of normal activity has eaten into my cushion.
S - Usual coffee B - Full frittata breakfast L - TJ's salmon burger in a light EM with light mayo, cucumber/tomato/radish salad D - Chicken florentine with added spinach. E - Walking and stetching.

Mj- lol. . . Loving Toot’s enthusiasm for yesterday’s Chicken Galore takeaway. In addition, it’s an advantage to have the pork roast queued up for tonight. - Can easily imagine that your activities and support of your family & the YMs is more rewarding than your involvement w/ MB & T. It’s absolutely acceptable to mosey, walk, jog, or dash away from your MB leadership involvement. - Glad to hear that Mouse2’s ear infection is responding to care. Hope you don’t get a call for an ER school pickup.

Susi- congrats for being under GW even though your cushion has shrunk. (lol. . . Earlier this morning I had the exact random thought- Susi’s at GW, but the cushion is slimmer). Your shoulder’s soft tissue could also be inflamed, and thus holding onto to water. -Menu looks great as always.

Okey dokey- fun morning included confusing call w/ the first cardiologist to which family doctor referred R. He spoke w/ R. This dr. wouldn’t see R and pushed the idea of Cleveland Clinic for a heart cath. The earliest C Clinic consult w/ an invasive & interventionist cardiologist is May 22nd. So I will keep R’s local appt. W/ a local cardio interventionist on May 10th. And I will treat C Clinic appt. as a 2nd opinion. However, if he has a chest pain— all bets are off— I am treating it as an ER situation. R has basically assumed that he has indigestion. And he well may; but his coronary calcium CT scan score warrants a heart cath. The sooner the better. sorry if this is confusing. Cardio dr #2 who spoke w/ R this morning has been playing phone tag w/ R. (It’s R fault). Cardio dr #1 is the local cardio interventionist one I scheduled for earliest possible appt., May 10th. I have him on a waiting list, too. This dr. can get the ball rolling— do a heart cath or order a stress test or echo. He is Cleveland Clinic trained. Cardio #3 is one of the top cardiologist at C Clinic main campus. If all works out, he will be 2nd opinion. He’s set for May 22 nd.

LaDonna – Sorry about Renee’s ear infection
Cathy – Liked the food pic you posted
June – Glad the cardiologist “yelled” at R. Hopefully he takes this more seriously. I’m sure that made it even more frustrating for you. Good plan for the day
MJ – Lots of moving parts even without the MB. Don’t know how you keep up!
Bee – Way to go!!!

June, at lunch I ate the meat mix over a salad with Totoro chips.
For dinner I had the mix on the chips topped with a dash of ranch. It is a keeper recipe
