It's THURSDAY ALREADY!! and we MAY'ED it to a new Month!!!
I borrowed that one from our Carly - she text me that yesterday as they all know April was a rough one -
Just a quick HELLO to everyone - today starts the final PUSH towards the finish line of State Testing. We start Science. Tomorrow we hopefully finish. Next week will be Make Ups. Today and tomorrow we try to pull in as many Make up sessions as possible but a lot of staff are calling off because, well, it's May now and they gotta have a day off. I guess? Drives me nuts. Oh and don't get me started on the buses. Apparently a bus driver was off yesterday and there were no substitutes so no bus route which means about 60 students had no way to get to school (inner city here) - the announcement went out Tuesday and most parents made it work but a handful just could not. Understandable. Our school is not within walking distance. So today will be attempts to pull those kiddos for Math make ups.
Oh and I have a dentist appointment in the middle of it all. I guess 6 months ago when I made the appointment I thought I would NOT be the only one in charge of State testing??? HA! I explained to the Curriculum Director that she and the newer Asst. Principal absolutely have to take over today at 10:15 - 11:00. I'll be right back. (I did prep everything!)
Yesterday was just a long day.
I got my hair done (Yay) washed those grays right out of my hair! But when I got home DH was waiting to 'go out to eat' as we ALWAYS go out on Wednesdays. So, out we went to a diner. Okay. Oh, but first he wanted to stop 'on the way' at Sam's Club to buy MORE Skechers shoes since the 10 pairs he already owns are simply not enough and he heard Sam's Club had some for only $25. UGH Are you kidding me! He got his shoes. He didn't NEED the shoes he just couldn't stand the thought of passing up such a great deal. Drives me nuts. We got home very late for me. Trying to smile here...I did my TM again this morning. Aiming for that 150 minutes of moderate cardio per week! ALMOST there!!
Have a GOOD THURSDAY!!

Morning Christine and all to come...Glad we have made it to "Friday Eve"...I'm ready for this week to be done!
Been some crazy, rough days here and have just been a bit "out of sorts"! LONG day Tuesday, the last day of the month with LOTS to finish up and still left a stack of manual orders that I tackled yesterday...thankfully the 1st was slow as always so we were able to get a little bit more caught up....finally. Need to be caught up by next Tuesday because Tonya is leaving for a cruise on Wednesday and won't be back until the following Wednesday....YAY, 5 days w/o her and her antics but might be a little OT during the week?? Never know!
Tonight the boys and I will put together the last 4 chairs and maybe if we can get Jason to help us the firepit/table and cover will be put in place too?? Maybe?? Hope to get back to start catching up a little here after that???
On a positive note we finally have the type of cancer Irelyn has...it is a Wilms Tumor and that was our prayer...if it was caught early, it can and should be taken care of easily and fairly quickly...just need a few more details of stage and protocol for treatment....today she is getting a port put in and will have her first chemo therapy....please keep her, Kyle, Emily and the rest of the family in your positive thoughts!!
Have a great day all!! I will share a cute picture of the entire family taken at the beach this weekend!!! "Sprenkle Strong" was the caption Vonnie put on the text!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Good Morning - barely! Site was being wonky this morning, both the site and the app! Geeze...
Christine: Thanks for starting us off this morning... YAY for MAY'king it to May! Good luck with testing - I think there should be a black out for PTO during school testing! It's (only) a few weeks for goodness sakes! Oops, sorry your dental appointment falls this week, but certainly not the end of the world... a lunch break at the most! Woo Hoo for hair appointment, I can't go until the 18th! Another "extra" week for me, due to NYC trip on 5/11.
Oh dear... LOL Thank Goodness Dh could get a pair of shoes ON SALE! LOL Every so often, I pile all DH sneakers in a pile and tell him if he doesn't sort it out, good vs trash, I WILL! Hey I am weeding out MY shoes, so he can too. Eden almost wears my size so I will let her have some of my stylish boots next year. I certainly don't need them all any more.
WOO HOO for TM time too!! You are rockin' it Girl!
Sue: Glad month end wasn't too bad. Ugh, always a tough choice, work OT for Tonya or put up with each day. Good luck with your furniture tonight. Oh good (?) news for Irelyn, and her family. Hoping her chemo goes well, and it is a short stint of it.
Just had a text from Tracy. I guess she's coming up for some HT time - in the sun - today. Now time to pre-track my day, and have a bottle of water. I have also found a really yummy tasting Zero Alcohol Tequila!! The rum is "ok" but not good, the tequila however is very good! So I can still enjoy a margarita in the tub! I got some organizing done of the clothes I have here for the girls. Time to weed out what doesn't fit! I also hope to get the back room (behind kitchen) done today. Means moving the Elliptical and summer cabinet. I want to regain access to that porch door. It comes in handy during pool season. All that will take care of goals 1-3 & 5.
#4: Today I am thankful that I got my foods prepped yesterday! LOL Makes today a no-brainer for eating healthy.
Dh went to pickleball today, so he will be home shortly. Then we have to also work on the ramp again. Damned birds keep building nests and I have bird poop all over my ramp and house again! I just got it cleaned! UGH!
♥hugs♥

UGH.....just lost my post!! It was a long one and I'm now too tired to start again!!
Sweet dreams all.....will likely only be a pop in tomorrow....will head directly to Kellen's game after work and not home until close to 8:30-9:00 depending on how long the game goes....they will usually call it because of the daylight!
Looking forward to one last nice day tomorrow in the upper 70's....the weekend won't get out of the 60's!! Thankfully it's only the weekend and then the warmer but rainy days begin!!
