Good morning! It’s going to be another beautiful day here. We got snow a year ago on this day.
Nancy, love that you used the extra time to eat your pb&j and apple. Have you tried envy apples? Oh my goodness, the best apples I’ve ever eaten. Even better than honey crisp.
Lori, yes, it’s been perfect weather for sitting on the deck/porch. The change of scenery and fresh air is good for your mom. Here’s the recipe:
SPICY PEANUT DRESSING 1/4 cup all natural peanut butter 3T tamari or soy sauce (I used soy sauce and would cut it to 2T next time) 1T maple syrup (I used sugar free but she suggests using pure maple syrup) 1T cider vinegar Juice of 1/2 lime 1/4t red pepper flakes (I skipped) 3T warm water, or more to taste
The recipe is from a book called Plant You. I’ve gotten several great recipes from it.
Kathy, is your bike ready?

C134D9, 1726 calories. Yesterday was snacky for some reason. I even found a Think Bar for 170 calories left over from the old days before whole foods. Oh well, it's a new day. Table tennis this morning - walked to and from the clubhouse. Reviewing my edits this afternoon then Canasta.
Jan - I never heard of Envy apples. I usually choose Macintosh, Delicious or Gala.

Jan, thanks for posting the recipe. Just what I was looking for…..
Nancy, you should pick one different type of apple each time you shop. There are so many really good varieties out there. I don’t think I’ll every eat a delicious apple again…gala is a good one, envy, Fuji, jazz, pink lady, honeycrisp, sugar bee, cosmic, pazazz…..are some I really like. It”s amazing how different they can taste…
