Those who have committed to being the best they can be. A place to come and share. A group that is there for one another. Though there is a list, it changes from time to time. Let us know if you might be interested in joining us and I will add your name to the list.

It was a quiet day at home yesterday. I made a chili-like pan of beans and corn and such and had it on rice for lunch yesterday. The scale is still up. I am looking forward to having an OP within calorie/point day today. Talked to my daughter last night, finished a book and reviewed it and started another one. I will read today and we will probably have leftovers for lunch. Hope to talk to our son and his family but saw online that the granddaughters will be at a swim meet so...not sure they will be available.
CHERRY: Will Julie and her friends stay with you in your house? Do you have beds for more them all? It will be nice for the man taking the car to fix a few things around the house and garden while he is there. Is he buying the car and even if you are giving it to him...what kind of car is it?
BEVERLY: Your meal sounds delicious. How often do you have to bathe your dog? How marvelous the golf tournament raised so much money that can go to better the lives of many.
LYNN: Credit Cards are a joy and a pain sometimes. We don't use them unless traveling. You are so right that it is almost easier to lose than maintain a weight loss. I never made it "to goal" this time but within five pounds and then...slowly it has started back on again. I need to get my mind in gear, activate my body into exercising more, and whatever I do...not give up! With that in mind, I will go up and put on the SMALLER jeans today and not the ones I kept for "in case"

Good morning. The car I'm giving to my daughter, Julie. Chris and Renae, Julie's boss and his wife Renae are all coming out in Chris' work truck pulling a trailer and will take it back on that. The car is a little Pontiac Solstice convertible sports car. I got it for my 70th birthday. I used to drive it quite a bit and took it on a couple of trips. Since I've gotten so much arthritis, it is difficult to get in and out of it so I rarely drive it any more. Chris and Renae will get the "guest room" which is part storage and computer room. The printer is in there and some of my coats, sewing fabrics, patterns, threads, extra blankets, my tall balance scale and other odds and ends. Julie will sleep with me. My bed is big enough for both of us. It's an adjustable bed, the same type she has at home.
Roger should be here today, so far he hasn't said he can't come. There are a few things for him to do. One thing Julie wants him to do is take pictures and measurements of the things Chris will be working on so he knows what to bring along. It's easier for him to take the pictures, as he's going to have to get down on the floor to take some of them and I can't do that very easily. I'm going to find some things to do around the house today, water my plants, and figure out what we're going to have for supper tonight.
Hope you all have a nice day.

Hello dear beaches,
Partly cloudy today, so far it hasn't rained. We did have quite a bit of rain yesterday.
I started DH's old truck & drove to the Dollar Store & the drug store. He wanted some chips to snack on, so I got them & he also wanted cookies, so got them too. At this point, I pretty much let him eat whatever he wants. I made potato soup today, he ate it & called it very good, which it is. I wish that I had made a larger pot, but I just made enough for about 3 servings. I made it WW friendly, it is very tasty.
I am still working on getting the porches cleaned off & ready for summer. DH hasn't been able to sit out there so far, but I am hopeful that he will. I have to put an extension on his oxygen cord for him to get out there, but that is no problem.
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

Hello my friends!
DH and I went out early for breakfast and I tracked everything I ate. I still had 40 weekly points left over but I didnβt go crazy.
We stopped at the drugstore on the way home. I got some ww friendly snacks and picked up a prescription.
My DD will come up on Saturday, which is her birthday and we will go out to eat that night for her BD and Motherβs Day. I sent her flowers which she should receive on Thursday as that is her day off. I will give her money toward her Scotland trip for a gift.
I made DH a steak we got at the commissary and he enjoyed it. I didnβt feel like steak so I had chicken breast.
Have a good rest of the evening!!
