New to me in the article - the categories and names the author used in the last point. Bears, Lions & Wolves. I know early bird and night owl are common, I like the idea of having a term for the more middle-of-the-road sleep pattern.
For me, sleep is usually not an issue. If I do have trouble sleeping, overthinking or ruminating or stress and worry can be the cause. Exhaustion takes over and I do get to sleep.
Phone or computer - I might check my phone quickly before going to bed, but rarely get pulled in. Usually have turned the computer off early in the evening. If, for some reason it's on, and I sit down on the way to bed, I can get pulled in and I do think it makes it a bit harder to get to sleep. Not sure if it's the blue light or from the reading, starting to think of things, etc.
To learn (can I pick two?) - I want to learn a new crochet stitch (linen stitch) and also learn to use my (used, but new-to-me) serger (type of sewing machine). The crochet stitch is just a matter of taking time to sit down and practice. The serger is a bit more intimidating than I'd thought it would be.

As I have said many times, I am one of the world's worst sleepers. For the last couple of years, it has been worse, because my DH was critically ill. My greatest fear was the power going off, as the 2 machines that were keeping him alive relied on electricity to run. I had back up measures, but I would lay awake, going over & over what to do if the power went out. I was also in fear that I would sleep through a power outage & that made me very nervous. Since his passing away, about a month ago, I have slept a bit better. I am not awake all night, listening for him, worrying about him, etc. I do, sometimes, take prescription sleep meds. I don't like to take them, but it is better than lying awake all night, tossing & turning. I have fybo & it is essential that I get some rest. I really have no cures for insomnia, wish I did.
I am learning to live alone for the first time in my life. I would like to learn some new ideas for volunteering. I am thinking of helping out at the gift shop in the hospital. I would also like to learn more about down-sizing & getting by with a minimum of stuff.
