TGIF! Iβm struggling this week. Itβs reminiscent of counting points many years ago when I would start the day tracking and doing great, then eating whatever I wanted in the evening. Iβm not going over my calories by much, but I have to nip this in the bud and get back on track.

C89.D14. Whole 30 Day 19. Was successful with my omelette and fruit eating plan, but the glass of fresh squeezed OJ on an empty stomach spiked blood sugar nearly 100 points. Noted!!
Meg and Nancy- admire your desire to get a healthy relationship with food. The TRE and intermittent fasting are ways that I can both binge and restrict while reaching a healthier weight. My food choices are good and wholesome, so that is a plus in the relationship with food...
Lori and Jan- hope you are both doing well and having a good week.

C135D4, 26 points - Janet came home with a bag of pnb m&ms as part of her birthday gift from clients who were beyond belief generous to her. It's obvious how much they all love her. Not that I can blame them. Anyway I took six measly m&ms that cost me 3 points. That explains the 23+3=26. Just pool and the gym today. Easy peasy.
Jan - I played the piano and forgot about my defrosting creami - After spinning, I drank it π
Kathy - I LOVE fresh squeezed OJ. How long does it take to reduce a blood spike like that?

Quick check-in. Doing well except I didn't need the popcorn I had after dinner.
Kathy: I can't eat whatever I want, even with the intermittent fasting. If I do, no weight will come off. But I'm definitely not being too restrictive.

Meg - What's a little popcorn? Janet's client sent her home with a small little birthday cake - diameter 5". Chocolate with yummy thick icing. We each had a small slice this afternoon. She went to work and I treated myself to another slice in her absence. I'm an idiot! And I wonder why I don't lose weight. Mike's coming in next Friday for a Springstein Concert. We're having dinner at the same baked ziti place Janet and I went to for her birthday. Ooy!! And the next night is one of those clubhouse dances. More food. The next day is a birthday party here. And then on Thursday the Bocce picnic which is big eating event followed by Grace, Graham, Steve and Cathy's arrival, a family get together for lunch at my neice's and then a singles luncheon a few days later. It just never ends.

This has been a busy, difficult week all aroundβ¦.so glad itβs over. I plan on sleeping in tomorrow morning. Hoping to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to get my eating back on trackβ¦ Right now, I can hardly keep my eyes openβ¦..talk tomorrowβ¦.

I'm calling today a binge - not a normal one but overdid the sugar. I'm changing my modus operandi. Back to 1200 calories and abiding by the recommended nutrients by MFP - calories, fiber, sugar, protein, carbs. I already made up my plan for tomorrow staying below calories, sugar and carbs and above fiber and protein. When I eat out, I will surround it with 50% all above nutrients. Hoping to get back under control this way.
Lori - Hoping you get a good, long sleep and wake up rarin' to go. Hopefully we'll both get our eating back on track.
