Yesterday, my internet was down all day. The company had turned it off, so that they could re-wire & add on some new houses. New houses ares sprouting up everywhere like mushrooms. It was off from about 8 am for the rest of the day. I also have my TV with them, so I couldn't even turn on the TV or catch the news. By the time they finally turned it back on, very late in the day, I was really getting frustrated.
I have never really thought about adding veggies to dressings, but that's not a bad idea.
I love almost all vegetables & I never have a problem getting enough of them in my diet. I pretty much prefer cooked vegetables over raw ones & they seem to be easier on my tummy. The weather her is cooler for the next few days, I will have to make a pot of vegetable soup or chili before the weekend is over. I will make a large pot & freeze individual portions for later.
After losing my husband last month, I realize just how much junk that we had actually accumulated over the years. The vast majority of it, is stuff that we haven't used in years. I am anxious to clean out & get rid of stuff that I no longer need. As I have gotten older, seems that I need less & less.

All's well here, just had a busy day. Holly, thanks for asking.
I'm more likely to turn to raw vegetables and dips/dressings instead of leafy greens and dressing, which is mentioned in the article.
I do agree that using a salad dressing that a person likes (and additions like dried fruits, nuts/seeds, other crunchy or savory things) will make or break a salad. I know the point is to make sure those tasty items are not too caloric, high in fat and so on.
Clearing out things - It's random for me. I cleared out work related things (such as clothing items I didn't need anymore) not long after I retired. Not long ago, I cleared out just general stuff from some storage shelves in the basement. Most of those items, I was able to donate to the thrift store.

* Not really...the link took me to salad dressings and I always make my own...some I have seen before and some were new
