Slowly but surely I’m stringing together some decent days. This week I will be nut-free and limit myself to one Built bar per day.
It has been a great year for apples. We’ve always had a couple of apple trees, but in the 29 years that we’ve lived in our house we’ve never done anything with them. We had soooo many this year, and DH selected the biggest and best and yesterday we made and froze 10 quarts of applesauce, plus some for eating this week. It was A LOT of applesauce! I also did 2 pans of balsamic basil roasted tomatoes.
Nancy, oh no on the Creami! Has your DIL had any trouble with hers? I’ve had no problems at all with mine (knock on wood). I second what Kathy said about relaxing your eating and enjoying your friends and family.
Meg, we had rain, wind and cold yesterday. I’m just not ready for that yet. I’m so glad the week is looking nice.
Kathy, congratulations on a new low weight!
Lori, I hope you’ve had some time to relax and catch up on your sleep this weekend. Is the wedding next month?

C135D6, 1180 calories, all MFP nutritional guidelines met. This is making a big difference in my eating, mainly by cutting back sugar and carbs. It took me forever to make up today's menu but I got it done. It will be easier in time as I get used to the values. I can see I'll be having much less fruit. A PJ day today which I will enjoy immensely. Today I'm making a pina colada smoothie. Haven't had one of those in ages. Also trying a recipe I found on line - 90 calorie cheesecake cup made with Fage 0% plain Green yogurt, Jello sugar free cheesecake pudding and Comstock no sugar added cherry pie filling. I'll let you all know how it turned out.
Jan - I can't comprehend 10 quarts of apple sauce, but love the idea of fruit trees. No DDIL never had a problem. I'm hoping the new base will make all the difference. Yesterday I got an email that my frosted sugar free cookie protein mix arrived, but it didn't. Maybe it was delivered to the wrong house but so far no mention from anyone. I emailed PE Science and hopefully they'll figure it out.
