Good Monday Morning, positive peeps!
Yes I DID: --check on Old House, pay lawn guy, & walk in a park on the way back home. --weigh in at WW studio. Free for another month, yay! --wind down...not early but I didn't surf, I listened to a relaxing meditation
Yes I CAN --stay on track with chores today --make sure to do at least 15' decluttering --wind down earlier!!

Yes I did: βenjoy cello choir, really so much more interesting with more people participating. βenjoy a longer bike ride that started much later than planned and, oops, the sunset is so much earlier now. The plan was to drive west 40 miles with the bikes on the car rack (setup was a challenge of its own) and ride the bikes east to where we had parked the van. Put bikes in van, drive back west where car was parked, then drive both vehicles home. The ride was fun, weather was perfect. But by the time we got on our bikes it was 6pm. Sunset was around 6:40β¦and the ride was 19 miles, so, yeah, we were riding in the dark for about an hour. We had headlamps and all, but stilll, not something I would want to do as a habit! Then we had to drive west 19 miles to pick up the car, etc. Didnβt get home until 10 pm! βsleep very, very well.
Yes I CAN: βkeep moving, gently, to keep my sore muscles and joints lubricated, LOL! βpractice a bit for my guitar class βget to bed earlier!

Good Wednesday morning, positive peeps πΈπ₯ππͺ¦πΏ!
Yesterday I DID: --enjoy a lovely morning group walk in the local cemetery, trees are in full autumn colors, the cemetery/park was beautiful! And the walk was a good, gentle way to stretch my sore muscles from Monday's bike ride. --guitar class was fun. We are working with a Beatles songbook, lots of good tunes! --empty 2 boxes of "stuff" from Old House: kitchen supplies, some small tools, decorative items, etc. Tossed out a lot of stuff, some will be donated. Why is this task so exhausting??
Yes I CAN: --work on decluttering again. --do my strength training. It's a windy day, although 70Β°. Otherwise we might do another bike ride...or not! --get to bed early!

Happy Wednesday evening positive peeps! Dragging my buns back in here, too many days missed. So sorry Carol!! I'm glad you missed the COVID bullet at the brunch, hopefully all is well with your friends. I get my next shot on the 29th. It is making the rounds again. Been very lucky so far! My dad had it for the second time this summer. Three of us sisters managed to stay close but careful and not get it. He just had one or two bad feeling days but then just cold like thing. He's pretty amazing for almost 91! Carol, I can relate to the sleep issue. Now it seems I'm waking up sweating probably because the heater is kicking on now with some chillier nights. I resorted to taking Benadryl the last few nights to get some solid sleep. At least it gets me to about 5:30 or 6. That's about the latest I can make it.
Yes I CAN: Get my tracker filled in today Stay clear of the junk Get my steps in (check)
Thankful we are almost to the end of the election season. I can't take much more! Waves to all!

Yay, Nat! Good to hear your dad and the family are doing OK. I am soooo with you on election exhaustion! My email and messages are jam-packed....
Yesterday I DID: --Silver Sneakers Circuit 45', included strength training, yay! --neighborhood walk, late afternoon, 3.4 miles. Lots of halloween decorations around!ππ»π. The kids really get into it. --wind down with a meditation, although a little late.
Yes I CAN: --get my car fixed...one of those thunking noises that we can hear but the guys in the shop didn't? --do my grocery run, if car is fixed --wind down earlier

Yes I DID: --chiropractor, had a much-needed adjustment --2 walks: short neighborhood walk, then a walk on the pond trail π¦after my car was fixed (2 wheel bearingsπ replaced) --quick grocery run, more fresh cornπ½ and pears π --sleep well
Yes I CAN: --stay focused --stay upbeat, send positive vibes out! --wind down earlier

Good Saturday morning, positive peeps βΎοΈ ππ¦ ππ! Hey Nat, your Dodgers were awesome in game 1.
Yesterday I DID: --have a good Tap class & we finished our Halloween themed routine --get overcome by a sad/hopeless mood in the afternoon but coincidentally found a 10 minute meditation that helped greatly. It was on "resilience". --wind down and sleep better (and felt better by morning)
Yes I CAN: --affirm: I choose to keep on keeping on, because I CAN make a difference --focus for 15 minutes --wind down earlier than usual

Yes I DID: --dress up as Galadriel for the Halloween/birthday party, had a good time --bring shrimp but ate too much junk food anyway --wind down well and sleep well! yay!
Yes I CAN: --focus on healthy eating today --remain calm & focused for the day --wind down earlier

Happy Wednesday positive ones! Carol my main psych doc was at game 1. I asked if he stayed through the 10th inning and he said yes and his voice was gone yelling Freddie Freddie LOL. I just missed most of last night's game except for seeing the first few innings in the ortho waiting room. Can't say I'm upset that NY won as I really would like it to come home to LA. So I won't be upset if NY wins tonight either LOL, but I will take a win if it happens Good for you on finding the meditation to do and is helpful. I go up and down at times with mood and the stressful environment at times does not help. I'm trying to add some meditation, breathing exercises in, along with getting the movement in. Very cool on the Halloween costume! Yes I CAN: -Practice coping exercises (I can hear my psych doc as well as a psychologist I type for in my head "focus on breathing exercises, guided imagery, and mindfulness meditation") -Log all food, stick to within range. -Get my stepper/elliptical steps in. Per my ortho, need to keep working on strengthening those thigh muscles, as well as (of course) weight management!! I won't consider any knee replacement until after 65. -Keep positive! Waves all, I'll try try try to not be a stranger! Nat
